"Do not use this company"
Do not use this company. Do not give them your card details. Money removed from my account without my authorisation. Paperwork promised on numerous occasions but never received (they do have
my correct address). Finally spoke to an agent (after two calls to their helpline) who denied my claims and refused to consider repayment. I suspect a computer error on their part but agent not interested in rational discussion so this never got discussed. No promise to look into the matter or supply evidence for their claims. As a pensioner I object to losing a fifth of my monthly income for no proven reason Having worked on a national helpline myself I can only say that their customer service is abysmal. I can categorically state that this firm is one of the worst. if not the worst, that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Do not touch with a barge pole.

"AVOID!"
Rude, pushy customer service representative who called me on three separate occasions trying to sell extended warranty for white goods. Final call resulted in her calling me a joker when I told her I had never purchased a washing machine and her hanging up the phone. Clearly cold calling trying to sell insurance for my hotpoint washing machine which I have never owned.

"Disgusting rip off company"
Complete rip off company. We took a policy out with them in August 23 for fridge/freezer cover. They then cold called us in Nov 23 offering a special offer to cover two more items, cooker and washing machine. Both policies cost £240. In total £480.00.
Then in December 23, Surecover took two payments of £240, January 24 £240, February 24 £240 and March £240.
In total £1200.
We have spoken with them once and was promised a full refund. That never materialised. Phoned them numerous times again but they don’t answer. We emailed them and got a reply saying our money would be refunded within 14 working days. That never happened. Further emails we have sent have just been ignored.
Our bank are now trying to get our money back into our account that was clearly fraudulently taken.
Up to date, we have received £480 back but are still owed £720.
The most disgusting company we have ever had dealings with.
Do not even contemplate doing business with them.
As you can see, they ask you to call them. And when you do…guess what…they don’t answer. Vile company!!

"Deceitfully taking money from my credit card"
I Originally took out a policy for my washing machine, but since then they have called me asking if my product is working well and said they will resend my doc, which I did ask why as I already have it. They said it was a something that they just did. So when it came I filed it, what I didn't realise is they had set one up for a fridge freezer which didn't need it as it's already covered under a warranty. They called and repeated the courtesy call of checking my appliance and then unbeknown to me taking £240 each time from my credit card. It now stands at £720, which I am having trouble retreiving from them. I am so angry that companies are allowed to behave this way.

"They take the money but do not provide…"
They take the money but do not provide the service, avoid using them. Don't be fooled by their ring our help line, they just have a reception that promise a call back which of course never happens. They don't answer emails so there is no way to get them to respond. I have complained to the ombudsman about their service.

"Took over 3 weeks and lots of chasing…"
Took over 3 weeks and lots of chasing from us to get a replacement appliance. Staff were lovely. Had to pay £75 for delivery and fitting - machine wasn’t fitted properly and my husband sorted it out. Had to bank transfer the £75 as their payment system was faulty.
All together a quite painful experience - needless to say we will not be renewing our insurance with Sure.

"Scam company"
Took out a 3 year policy on my washing machine and dishwasher. I thought I was getting both for one price but due to what has been going on I found out I've paid 2 premiums ( for which I could have bought a new machine anyway ).
I kept getting phone calls from them every month asking if I'd received my policy documents. After a few of these calls I started to get annoyed with them, hadn't received documents in the post, and to stop ringing. They still rang! It wasn't until the other week I got a message from Barclaycard saying they had declined a payment to Surecover. Thank God. I checked back on my statements to see that they had taken out the full premium again a month previously, certainly not authorised!
Have rung them several times, they always say their refund department will get back to me; they never do. Now in the hands of Barclaycard to reclaim money. I also am trying to cancel my policies as I know they won't act on them. Not to be trusted. Not had any luck in cancelling so may have to pay them a visit. They won't like that the thieving scum.
Do not give them the time of day and if you have taken out a policy keep checking your bank statement.
