Dreadful experience time and time again. Parts supplied are sub standard and warranty process requires customer to purchase another part and wait weeks before a decision is made to refund the money.
We had one part which failed and damaged an adjacent part but this consequential damage was not covered.

I ordered 2 replacement catalytic converters for my 1999 XK8, and had them delivered directly to the garage that was fitting them on my behalf. That was all good and delivered promptly. The garage phoned me to tell me that they had arrived and work would commence later that day. They also commented that they were not the best quality.
The following day they called me to say that the left hand cat was fitted, but they had to modify the bracket as it was not in alignment with the car. However the right hand (Driver's side) was completely wrong and could not be fitted.
I called Barratts and was told that my car didn't have Cats as standard only the XKR had them on that year. The garage then called them and were told the same BullS***. The garage asked if they wen't fitted to my car what were the two catalysts on the floor that came off my car were? Only for Barratts to repeat the same.
Catalytic converters have been a legal requirement in the UK since 1993.
I had a local metal workshop cut and realign the Cat and the garage then fitted it. This all in cost me more than buying a part from Jaguar direct, if only I'd known and checked the reviews of this complete shower!
I will not use S N G Barratt again.
GREAT news, S N G Barratt are taking notice and are attempting to make amends for the lousy service that they have been giving in the past.
They have recognised that there is room for improvement and are actually doing something positive to rectify it.
Although some seven months after the problem I have been contacted by the company to try to firstly understand on their side why they failed and secondly how to make amends to me as a customer.
It has taken 24 hours from never using them again to being very impressed with them.
Thank you for restoring my trust in your company and also the credit for the additional costs that I suffered as a result of the poor customer service in the past.

Been using SNG for years now, can’t speak highly enough of them.. customer service is exemplary, a wealth of knowledge and best of all you can put your house on it that if you order your parts before 4pm they will be with you the next day.
I’ve spent thousands with them restoring e types I can’t remember ever parts not arriving as ordered, well packaged and on time.
Better than the others out there..

"Ordered 2 down pipes cables on sidelights"
Ordered 2 down pipes, left and right from manifold on S3 E Type having previously spent £30k with them in the preceding few months.
I fitted them to the engine which was not in the car and ran the engine in a rig.
When I tried to fit the engine into the car it would not fit because one of the down pipes hit on the car chassis.
When I worked out the problem it was because both down pipes were for the right side. I asked them to replace the down pipe as it was not what I ordered and they refused. I will not use them again unless they replace this pipe. I am restoring 2 other E Types currently and buy everything from other suppliers.
December 2023. I’ve recently been contacted by an SNG Senior Customer Service Executive who asked for the story behind my review which I politely recited only to receive another message refusing to reimburse me for the incorrect part SNG supplied. Fortunately, as I have a number of E Type and a Mark 2 under restoration there are a number of reliable alternative suppliers and I will happily put my business with those. I would suggest avoiding SNG as a supplier
Latest update.
I’ve been adding the front rear and sidelights to the EType all purchased from SNG. I’ve noticed the cables from all of these lights are very flimsy and the bullet connectors are very substandard. So much so that I had to cut them all off and fit new ones.
I also don’t understand why they are supplied with cables that are too short and there is an additional Harness supplied to extend them. Maybe this would be acceptable but the extension harness only has bullet connectors at one end. Really annoying.

SNG Barratt supplies poor quality parts.
They always find a reason why they cannot take the parts back. They are not interested why you want to return parts. Even poor parts are stored again and sold to the next customer! Only buy parts when you need them right away and cannot find them anywhere else.
Fit the parts asap and consider it probably will not fit.
It was like this 15 years ago and nothing has changed.

Got an apprentice customer service Exec to deal with my complaint
After a maximum of 3 hours running time spread over at least 4 months following SNG running in procedure the enamel on my Exhaust Manifold E type S2 is on my garage floor
Do not buy this product absolute crap
I would be embarrassed if I sold such a third rate product that you would expect to come from China
