"Absolute jokers . Avoid"

Absolute jokers. As with all the other reviews on here these guys are total con artists . They will tell you your item is in stock but basically only order once a sale is made leaving you waiting 10 weeks for your furniture to get to you from China . Chasing them up is near impossible, if they do answer the phone they sound offended you’re asking and the promise of a phone call back never happens . Like many others on here they gave me the old bad weather boat story . Spend a bit more money elsewhere and save yourself the stress of dealing with these people. ( que C.W with some generic response that will have absolutely no mention of compensation)

"Avoid this company like the plague!!!"

Same experience as most of the other customers on here: no furniture after over 10 weeks and utter lack of communication. Absolutely terrible customer service, we have contacted our credit card company and are in a dispute to get the money back on the credit card because alfresco rattan are delaying and not honouring the refund policy. Just a quick note to anybody else who has bought furniture from this company on credit card you only get 120 days to raise a dispute with them so make sure you raise the disputes within this time.

"Awful company"

Awful company, never use! awaiting for money to come back on my card still nothing has come on my card, luckily i used my credit card so will be asking for a full refund.

"Avoid like the plague"

Avoid like the plague. Same as everyone else paid for furniture none delivery wasted 2 days holidays to get told it wasn’t on truck then second time told it didn’t fit. Do not pay these scamsters cash go via credit card I did and am now disputing so I can get a full refund. Avoid avoid avoid

"AVOID THIS COMPANY .We ordered our garden set on the 15th…"

We ordered our garden set on the 15th June 2019 at Dunstan Hall Norwich. We paid in full and we were told that it would be on a container in a few weeks. We had not heard anything so rung them a few times with no answer, they eventually replied to an email stating that the set we had chosen hadnt been put on the container and they would upgrade us for free with a set they had in stock and would be delivered the following week. After seeing the photo we agreed to this, i booked the day off work but still had not received a delivery slot so rung the courier to be told its not being delivered no apology no explanation. Alfresco Rattan wouldnt answer their phone to me or my husband and eventually again did reply via email. We have asked for a full refund and are still waiting, they are now saying they are going to deduct the delivery charge! Seriously....what delivery!
Please avoid this company i left a review on their Facebook page only for it to be deleted and myself and my husband blocked!
These people are scammers. We just want our money back which they have had since 15th June. Absolutely disgusting

"Very disappointed in this company"

Very disappointed in this company. The young lad at the hotel where the sale of the products took place was very helpful, professional and efficient. However, although the product was delivered on the day promised, some of the cushions were not the correct match for the furniture ordered and delivered. It was the delivery chap who told us this before we had noticed ourselves. We contacted the company after a few days as we hadn't heard from them, given they were told of the issue by the delivery driver. They asked for photos of the incorrect cushions which we provided together with a comprehensive explanation of the issue. We then received many clearly misunderstood communications, which we kept replying to so as to get them to understand, but still no cushions or even replies to our recent communications asking for updates. It seems they aren't listening or bothered about customer care. All of that said, we are pleased with the furniture that we bought, a good price for good products, it is just the follow up customer care which has proven on this occasion to be poor.

"We are still waiting for completion of from this joke of a company"

We are still waiting for completion of our order that was ordered in Feb. We ordered Black waited in all day for the delivery, no delivery no phone call. I phoned them three times they said it was on for delivery, no delivery first day. I phoned customer service 3 time the following day with no joy they didn’t know where it was, 4.30 I had a call saying it was damaged, we ordered 3 separate items but nothing was delivered. Then they informed me I’d have to wait 2 more months for my delivery, I asked was there a different colour available they got back to me 2 days later to say there was grey, so we had grey delivered 2 weeks later. The order included loungers but one had parts missing so couldn’t be used. I have been chasing them for 3 months for the replacement lounger. I’ve had every excuse under the sun including another delivery day that nothing showed up. 4 weeks back they were waiting for our lounger to clear customs, then two weeks back they missed their delivery to my area and now its awaiting customs clearance again. Customer service is a joke. Order ref W113908 ordered Feb 11.

"Delighted with our dining set"

We recently purchased our dining set from a pop up event in Llandudno . At first we were a little nervous as we had never really been to one before and didn’t know what it was all about. I have to say we are absolutely delighted with the furniture and the quality. We have so many people comment how lovely it looks. I appreciate some people have had bad experiences,but I have to say we absolutely love our furniture and would definitely recommend and would buy from them again.

"I wanted to write this review after the…"

I wanted to write this review after the awful reviews that I have read on this site. We purchased our lovely set of garden furniture from a pop up event in Maidenhead. They said it would be 7 weeks but actually it was just over 10 weeks by the time we got it. I have to admit that I was slightly nervous about whether we would actually receive it after reading all these awful reviews. I did call them a number of times without success however I emailed them and they responded within a couple of hours explaining that it had be delayed in shipping from China. On the date that they said it would arrive, I emailed them again and they responded again within a couple of hours informing us when it was going to be delivered. The courier company that they use were very professional and arrived when they said they would and I am now sitting on a beautiful piece of garden furniture that I am very pleased with. In short, there are obviously people that have had bad experiences on here however they are a decent company. I’d recommending emailing over telephone and give them a chance. The furniture was later than expected but the quality is great and far cheaper than you would pay at say a garden centre. We are super happy with ours, so don’t loose faith you might just have to wait a few more weeks than they say!!

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY"

I like the rest of the people writing bad reviews, which is pretty much everyone I have handed over my money for a set of furniture which I have not received. Was told that it would be delivered between 2 - 4 weeks, we are now in week 5. Looking at the other reviews, with people waiting 10 - 12 weeks looks like my journey has only just started.
Telephoned 20 times in one day with no answer, have emailed three times with no reply.
We are going to visit the next ‘pop up’ event to explain the issues we are having (And to make sure everyone reads this site) to all of people who attend.
Have to say I’m very disappointed with the Shrigley Hall hotel (Macclesfield) Where i brought the furniture they should have done their homework on this company before letting them use the venue. Although they do answer their phone they have washed their hands of the whole thing.
