"This company does not even deserve one…"

This company does not even deserve one star.

After weeks of waiting for my order I was told it got damaged and needed another 7 weeks of delivery. After ringing constantly and emails ignored I was told I could have a full refund in 14 working days. Of course, patiently waiting that time I was not given my money. 3 more emails ignored. Under the 2015 Consumerrights act I am within my rights to claim my money back. I am utterly disgusted in this service and this company should be ashamed of themselves. I am currently looking into claiming through the small claims service as they are not going to get away with this. I thought I could trust this service due to being a pop up shop in a well established hotel in Lincoln.

"So shocked to see all the bad reviews for this company!!"

Myself and my partner went to the pop up roadshow in Aintree Racecourse on Saturday 6th of July after having our garden renovated in June. We had heard about this company on Facebook and had been previously in April/May time and decided not to purchase until the garden had been completed.

On the 6th we spotted the Rural Round Dining set with 6 chairs package that came with a parasol. The gentleman by the name of Dae spoke to us and explained the order process and the two ways of making a payment... cash and card.

After speaking with eachother, myself and my partner agreed that we wanted this set and Dae explained that it was this exact display set we would receive and asked us if we would still like to go ahead with the sale. After checking over the furniture as advised, for any damage we were happy to accept this set. Dae explained that as they did not have any parasols at the showroom this would need to be sent on at a later date.

I was happy with this however my partner was a little unsure, we agreed that all in all we were happy we were getting a deal paying just over £700 for the dining set- compared to all other similar sets I had looked at for months that totalled over £1000.

We agreed to pay cash on delivery and left the showroom with our invoice and were informed our dining set would be delivered the next day... which it did. Our furniture arrived whilst we were out however the delivery driver was more than happy to use the key we had left out for him when he called us 20 minutes prior to delivery.

When we returned home our furniture was in perfect condition and we were over the moon moving them round the garden. However this is when we noticed we were missing a cushion, we called the driver and he pulled the van over to check. He apologised profusely and stated that he could either come back later that night, it was 8pm and he would of been able to come back after midnight or he could drop it off in the morning. We agreed to him dropping it off in the morning.

I have had so many compliments regarding our furniture and have had to show people the invoice to prove how reasonably priced the set was.

I have just emailed the company to request my parasol as life got a little hectic this past few weeks however I have been reassured and asked for my invoice number to proceed with my request.

I honestly can’t believe how different my experience has been compared to some of the other reviews I have read.

Alls I can say is we agreed to receive the display model, knowing it would be delivered the next day and agreed to pay cash on delivery to ensure everything went smoothly.

10/10 couldn’t recommend any more!

"Alfresco Rattan - Please Contact Me URGENTLY"

Before I leave negative fedback, I would appreciate if you would contact me regarding Invoice No 0767, you have all my telephone numbers on the invoice. I have tried for weeks to contact you by phone but it is has never been answered and I have also sent several emails, I have more important things to do with my time!! you have had £1,558 of my money since 19th May and I no longer want the furniture that was ordered as it has now been nearly 10 weeks, when ordered was told 5-6 weeks!! You have never contacted me to explain why such a long delay. Do you still exist as a company or have I lost all my "hard earned money". It seems that you have been left quite a few negative reviews regarding the same!! DO NOT REMOVE this as other people need to know, I just want my Money Refunded ASAP!!

"Shameful customer service, take your money and do not deliver !!!"

Like many others reviews this companies customer service is terrible.
Ordered furniture on 6th April and told it is 6-7 weeks delivery. After numerous emails to chase I was told the container was delayed. After more delays I decided to cancel the order as felt it is wrong they are holding my money for so long. On 30th June I received an email agreeing to cancel and refund and I would receive refund in 14 days. Guess what ?! Still no refund !! No one replies to phones or emails !!! Now going to credit card company to report to try and get our money back.
DO NOT USE this company their customer service is shameful .

"Orders this back in March"

Orders this back in March, waited to no avail. Paid in full. Difficult to get hold off. Asked for refund and email the cancellation which we did. Told it will take 14 working days and still nothing. Husband called given the run around of promised phone calls. They either hang up on you or don't call you back. Advice is do not touch these people and we will be taking legal action if we do not get our refund. Ray Moore

"I would have given 5 stars but..."

I would have given this company 5 stars but just a few minor upsets. The set I original ordered was damaged on delivery. I took photos and emailed the company as per terms and conditions. I received an email saying I could keep the damaged set with a discount of £100 or I could have it collected and a new set ordered for delivery end of June. So I decided to have a new set. End of June came no communication from the company so I phoned customer services and was told the shipment that was expected had been damage in transit so I would have to wait until end of July. I wasn’t happy with that so ask for a full refund. I was told it would be done in 14 days on or before 13 July. That day came and went and no refund. So I tried for 3 days phoning numerous times. but no one would answer or it went straight to an answer machine. I then emailed and I received an email back saying that customer services was a small team and they were answering calls and emails as soon as they could. So I persevered and decided to give them another call but I let it ring longer than I normally would and eventually a wonderful lady called Dannie (I hope she does not mind me mentioning her) she was amazing. She told me she would look into why I hadn’t been refunded and call me back. Which true to her word she did. She promised my refund on the Saturday which was 2 days later. She emailed me on Saturday to say that the refund had been done and attached a copy of the remittance. I phoned my bank this morning and my account had been credited with the refund. Had it not been for the damage done to the corner set I ordered I would have been more than happy with the furniture. I have to add that Dannie is an asset to this company as she is very good at her job. Nice lady and very reassuring. As I said I would have given 5 stars but had few sleepless nights thinking I had lost my money.

"Schoolboy error"

I made the schoolboy error of leaving a negative review before I had actually received all of my furniture. As a result of which, the already accepted offer of compensation was withdrawn. Yes, seriously, I was told that they were no longer prepared to honour their offer, purely and simply because I'd left negative feedback.

Oh, and there were also threats to come and collect the items that we had received - despite me repeatedly saying that wasn't what I wanted (to the point of them saying they'd just come and take them from our garden if we weren't in); and more threats to leave that furniture with us but cancel the rest of the order (which was the remainder of a matching set) - again despite me repeatedly saying that wasn't what I wanted.

We have now, finally, received all of our furniture, and are very happy with it. But as for communication and customer service - absolutely dreadful. Just don't dare to say you think so until after you have your goods!

"WAITED 14 WORKING DAYS AND STILL NO…"

WAITED 14 WORKING DAYS AND STILL NO REFUND!

• Ordered our furniture in March paying in FULL up front
• Delivery 4-7 weeks, absolute joke, got to 12 weeks and still nothing so we cancelled our order
• Told to email in and it will take up to 14 working days to refund our money
• Friday was 14th working day and STILL NO REFUND….
** As If that wasn’t enough, ALFRESCO RATTAN Reported our initial review?! (Along with 7 or 8 others about an hour ago as far as I can see)**

We are not wealthy people, a young family on the breadline who saved up and wanted to enjoy the summer with a special set of garden furniture… Now we are out of pocket STILL, no furniture and complexly and utterly let down and stressed by this entire ordeal.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR – AVOID at all costs – Oh and before you report this review, can you tell us where our REFUND is please Alfresco Rattan?!

"Excellent service"

I bought a garden table with 8 chairs yesterday at Lingfield ......after I read some of the reviews I was a bit worried as to whether my goods would turn up and be in good condition .
Well I did not need to worry the goods were delivered today and in excellent condition ...we are very happy with our purchase and thank you John for your help yesterday
