I can’t recommend Arkiplan enough. They really took the hassle out of getting building control approval. We needed it very quickly too , having previously been let down by a previous architect and building work due to start.

She always came back quickly to any questions i had ans never made me feel stupid for asking some of them! The speed from start to finish was great too as hear you an wait many months with other architects and that aome are hard to get hold of during a job. Definitely not the case with Arkiplan!

Arkiplan made what was a daunting first time extension task so very easy. From start to finish they were attentive, knowledgeable and most of all considerate to our requirements. They held our hands all the way through the 4-5 months it took from quote, through 3d design, extension design, planning and building regulation permissions right up to the build beginning. They spoke with prospective builders on our behalf and changed plans without additional fuss or cost. We really couldn't fault this part of the process and wouldn't hesitate to recommend .

Great company that made the process of renovating my house easy to understand. The council had reservations and were difficult and Arkiplan changed the drawings free of charged and helped us get it through. Would recommend to anyone.

"We used Arkiplan to prepare plans for our two storey side extension"

We used Arkiplan to prepare our building control drawings for a 2 storey side extension to our detached 1950's house. It comprises a 28m2 garage & 2 en-suites (15m2). Job was quite tricky as it involved a lot of steel works. Nicki of Arkiplan provided us with the Building Control drawing pack & associated stress report. The document pack was extremely good, very detailed & unambiguous. Nicki provided excellent guidance & options to minimise the building cost. It took some 4 months to achieve the final drawing pack which was approved by Building Control with no issues. Builder found the format excellent for providing the estimate & managing queries. Building work commenced at the begining of February 2024 & will be finished in a couple of weeks (end of May 2024). Original quotation still stands & we are delighted with the outcome. It has exceeded our best expectations :-)
