I found the process of using Arkiplan stress free. The online portal is very good and I had confidence in the person I was dealing with via emails, and online meetings. They were knowledgeable and helpful.

I only used Arkiplan for building regs drawings and structural calculations, having already completed planning drawings and obtaining approval, so no on-site survey etc was carried out and I can't comment on these aspects. But for the work involved in my project, the process worked well and the costs were considerably more favourable than using local architects.

Arkiplan has an excellent web portal which allows you to manage various aspects of your projects, including reviewing documentation, providing revisions on plans and drawings and even viewing the 3D scans of your property.

We uses Arkiplan for a side-passage extension on our terraced home and were very pleased with the service that we received. Arkiplan helped us to design the extension, apply for planning permission and party wall agreements, and finally buildings control certification for our build. The whole process took around 3-4 months and then the build went very smoothly thanks to the detailed drawings produced.

We used Arkiplan for quite a large double storey extension having seen a neighbour had also used for their own plans. The process was straight forward, a really intuitive online platform to upload information on my project, dimensions and requirements etc. Arkiplan sorted out all my planning application and technical drawings. They were knowledgeable, responsive and supportive when I needed to make some small changes to our plans.

We worked with Arkiplan to scan, measure and plan the design of our downstairs space. The entire records was smooth and ran completely online so it fitted in around our busy work schedule. The team we worked with couldn’t have been more accommodating and changed elements of the design as our thoughts changed.

We used Arkiplan for our extension project. We wanted a ground floor side extension with en-suite and a porch added to the front of the house. Everything went so smoothly. Keeley was very responsive, quick and helpful. The plans arrived & we were able to submit for planning permission via Arkiplan. The only hold up was when our builder advised some modification to the roof design but Arkiplan quickly provided updated drawings and we got planning permission without a problem. All in all, using Arkiplan saved us a lot of money and provided an excellent service. Very happy to recommend to others.

We had Keeley as our designer and loved her ideas. She was always on hand and got back to us very quickly. We would use Arkiplan again and recommend them.

Overall we were happy with the designs created but I didn't understand that the details drawings weren't part of the package, so I couldn't just give these to my builder as they were.
