We just returned from an amazing trip to Uganda. In early 2024, African Safari Consultants, and specifically Ilze Fox, assisted my wife and me in arranging an October 3-17 trip to S. Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. Ilze was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Not only was she very knowledgeable and responsive, but she put together a mostly private trip that exactly met our needs and expectations.

In addition, she was patient in responding to the many questions and minor tweaks to the itinerary that my wife and I requested in the months leading up to the trip.

Several of our friends have expressed interest in doing safaris, and we will be strongly recommending ASC, and Ilze in particular.

I also want to acknowledge Charlie Ratcliffe, the private guide Ilze chose for us on the last leg of our trip in Cape Town. Charlie was a consummate professional, with deep, almost professorial, knowledge of the local area, flora and fauna. Not only did we learn a lot in our 3 days with Charlie, but he's got a great personality and is just plain fun to be around.

Every trip was exceptional and there were no problems with any of the many lodges or the numerous transport schedules involved.
