Don’t buy gift cards. They appear to be impossible to fully use. Try to use the balance for something more than the bill…and pay the balance another way…nogo. So you are stuck with an unusable remaining balance

So gifly responded to my general afvice re gift cards, offering to help. All I had to do was to contact support at giftly.com. That web page does not show up on a search on my hardware

In this specific instance, I had a resto bill before tip of $48. I used the tag end of an older gift cart successfully to reduce the bill to $42. My $50 gift card was then rejected. Giftly said it was because of a hold, or something like that, but the prior $6 tag end of another gift card went thru. Tag ends are a pain in the wallet area, don’t give them. And Giffly provided an excuse that does not compute with me.

Cards do not work with all customers if a password is not established on the Visa card. Starbucks would not allow me to reload my account without a password entered for the Visa card. There is no way to use up small amount left on the Visa card as customers will not allow to pay an amount unless the card balance exceeds what is owed. I do NOT recommend use of these cards for gifts.
