It was a fantastic experience working with Haysto from start to finish. As an older buyer, it was important to have support on the best mortgage option. Everything about the Haysto experience was excellent, with a great online platform to take us through the steps in securing the mortgage. I honestly can't rate Haysto highly enough. I am still in shock that they have found us a mortgage with a high street bank!
We came to Haysto as while my husband has an excellent credit rating, mine has been teetering between poor and the low end of fair forever. We are both first time buyers, at the ripe old age of 45!
For background, I was on a DMP and as a result accrued some defaults, all of which were settled in 2020, but still remain visible on my credit file. My current credit utilisation is pretty high too. So, we randomly looked for 'poor credit mortgages' online and here we are.
Reece gave us the warmest welcome as our first point of contact and I instantly knew that we were in safe hands. After the initial call, we were allocated to our mortgage broker Sam, who explained the process. Sam got us an AIP fairly quickly from Nationwide, who was the fourth high street lender that he went to for us (the first three rejected, based on my credit information).
The portal has been an absolute godsend too as we have been able to upload and view documents in an instant.
Long story short, today we received a mortgage offer from Nationwide for the exact terms of the AIP. We saw a house on Friday, put an offer in the same day, offer accepted the following Tuesday and mortgage offer received today, the following Friday. Offer is literally three days from application. Everyone that we have dealt with has played an incredible role in making what we thought was the impossible, possible!
Shout outs to Reece, Sam, Tabbi & Charley. Our experience has been flawless. Yes, there are free brokers out there, but the fee is worth its weight in gold. Worth it for the work the team put in. Worth it for the confidence and reassurance the teams provide and worth it for the expert skills and knowledge. Honestly, I need to lie down, my adrenaline is out of control.
Thank you Haysto. You really have changed our lives. No more rent after 20+ years in the game.

We started our journey with Haysto in January. After changing our property purchase a million times to finding something suitable to be our forever home. The team have been brilliant especially Philip who was very patience and honest. We couldn’t have done it without him. After submitting the application just over 2 weeks ago we now have our mortgage offer!! Definitely recommend this company.

"Miscommunication all the way"
Miscommunication all the way. Been told they can get specialist mortgages sorted and on passing on to an advisor they declined to take my application further. The guy speaking to customers on the phone doesnt know how the mortgage advisrors work and their internal processes. Don't believe the response to this review from Team Haysto - they'll try and pull another miscommunication charade. I'd steer clear from them and get mortgage arranged from someone else..

James Francis was the best!!
This was my first time buying a property and he genuinely made me feel at ease. He went above and beyond to get me the best mortgage and without him I wouldn’t be able to say I will be a homeowner. He genuinely cared for me and I will highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to get a mortgage. He is truly exceptional and I hope Haysto know how lucky they are to have someone like James in the team!

"I never dreamt the day would come …"
I never dreamt the day would come that I’d receive a mortgage offer, let alone move into a house I owned. After getting what I now know was terrible advice from other brokers I called Haysto (in a bit of a panic if I’m honest). My situation was complex, but Paul understood my position immediately, how much this ment to me, but also how he could help me.
Paul and Tia were amazing and incredibly supportive. They (and the team) took so much of the stress out of the process for me and explained everything to me every step of the way, always responding to my many questions quickly! The portal was so easy to use and the ability to message through it was a game changer!
Dont be put off by what can initially might feel like a sales pitch. Anyone out there wondering about talking to Haysto, don’t hesitate and pick up the phone. The team are fantastic, understand individual needs and make you feel so at ease.
I’m not the person that leaves reviews but this team (Paul and Tia in particular) really did change my life and I will always be incredibly grateful!
