"Awful experience - would not recommend "
Awful. Avoid at all costs. Full of lies and miscommunication.
We were told our mattress didn’t arrived because of a “damaged box” then the next day a mattress arrives in…..a badly damaged box.
Once getting it up our tiny spiral staircase and inflating it we realise they’ve sent us one £800 cheaper than the one we ordered.
We were then sent the replacement but couldn’t use it because at least 5 times of trying for them to collect the wrong one fell on deaf ears.
After weeks of trying to get them to collect the wrong one and explaining that it will NOT go back down our stairs as it is they assured us they’ll send “careful couriers who can cut it up in your house if necessary” - to which I declined, bought some ratchet straps and tied it up and got it back down ourselves ready to be collected.
(This was their bog Standard Emma mattress btw which is awful).
Then, I’m left absolutely disgusted by todays whole process dealing with the “collection” people.
I warned the company and Emma multiple times that I would not be letting two random men wander into my house and do whatever they can to stuff the mattress being collected today down our tiny spiral staircase, so as agreed, we moved it and used ratchet straps to roll it up and then it sat in our living room waiting to be collected.
This morning upon arrival, they could see through the window I was up from my computer to unwrap the straps, but continued to bang on the door and ring the bell to which my wife then got up to tell them I was getting it ready.
Before I could even look up they were inside my house, muddy shoes all over my carpet, one in my face and one behind telling me to “hurry up and stand it up” and once I told them to wait until I had got the strap off they just carried on and on about hurrying up and standing it up getting more and more aggressive.
Once I told them it would not in fact “stand up” because our ceilings are too low I was met with “let me do my job and get the cover on it (raining outside) to which I told him again it wouldn’t and he’d have to do it in the van.
He then said said “ok I’ll tell them you wouldn’t let us take it” to which I replied that I was asking them to take it just sideways not upright (literally makes no difference to them). The van was not even 2m from my front door. So I said ok if you don’t want it back get out of my house and he started laughing “well we will just take it and get it dirty so you don’t get your money back then”.
To which again, I told him to get it out of my house and he just stood there staring at me as if he wanted to fight me and the other guy had to step in the middle.
They took it out the house all of 2m into the van and proceeded to give me more atitude about saying they wouldn’t photograph it etc and that I was going to lose my money.
Of course they don’t know I already have a replacement so I couldn’t care less about their games…. But having two Eastern European wannabe hardmen barge into my house with their dirty shoes all over my carpets and shout and swear in my face about a MATTRESS whilst my wife is stood there is hardly what I’d call customer service 👍🏻
Not only have I had to chase land of beds numerous times by phone and email to sort these issues out to which I’ve always been met with “so sorry, will sort it today” and then nothing happens until I chase and chase, but now this too.
The only guy who is helpful is the American guy, the rest are absolutely useless and unless you want a month long stress of dealing with them I’d stay clear of them.

"Confusion over old bed disposal…"
I had a bed delivered but the delivery co. refused to dispose of the old one even though I paid for this service. I called Jason who reassured me that he would resolve this situation as soon as possible and he put my mind at ease straight away. He was very friendly and kind and said he would keep me informed on how everything was progressing to rectify things. He arranged collection of the bed for the following day. The company arrived on time and provided a great service. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of this difficult situation which all ended so well. A big thanks to Jason at Land of Beds for being so considerate and providing an excellent service. It was very much appreciated. We are delighted with our new bed.

Mike was brilliant! He took the time go through loads of questions with me, which meant I got to place an order for exactly what is needed. It’s a great price for a very fancy bed with everything my husband will need after hospital discharge. Definitely helps to have finance options too. Much appreciated!
