"International buyers beware"

International buyers beware, painful customer service.
I ordered a pair of boots, then I get an email that the boots are “doscontinued” and my order is being cancelled (even though the boots are still advertised for sale on the website), I thought naturally they would refund the money since they are cancelling my order, silly me, I look at my CC statement months later and see there is NO REFUND!.
Contact support, they suggest I buy something else, I repeatedly asked them if there will be any problems with the order, the slow to answer customer service informed me that there shouldn’t be as long as “I don’t order discontinued items” so I ordered another item I get a tracking link, the link informs me that the parcel cannot be delivered. So no package, no money and then when I am contacting support but I get no responses whatsoever.
Really appalled with the whole experience.
If you are considering motoin.de make sure you look at championhelmets, they are from the NL and have much better prices and impeccable customer service with fast reasonably priced shipping.
Personally after this I am never dealing with this company again, I just hope I can get my money back

"Katastrophal"

Nachdem ich teure Stiefel bestellt habe, wurden diese stark abgenutzt (gebraucht) geliefert. Das kann durchaus mal passieren, aber nach meiner Rücksendung mit Wunsch auf Ersatz von Neuware passierte sagenhafte 42 Tage nichts. Auf KEINE meiner 5 Mails wurde auch nur ein einziges Mal geantwortet, der tel. Kundenservice hat keine Einsicht und bittet um eine E-Mail (merkt ihr selbst, oder?). Man wird hier komplett alleine gelassen und kriegt keinerlei Service. Komischerweise wurde innerhalb weniger Minuten auf meine Stornierungsmail nach 42 Tagen per Mail geantwortet; es liest wohl also doch jemand die Mails. Ich weiß nicht, wie solch ein "Service" heutzutage noch möglich ist. Ich werde großen Abstand von dem Shop nehmen, denn wenn Probleme auftreten hat man nur ärger.

Update: Entgegen der Antwort des Händlers habe ich lediglich auf meine Stornierungsmail eine Antwort bekommen. Die 5 Mails zuvor blieben bis dato unbeantwortet.

"Disappointing Experience with Delayed Order and Poor Communication"

placed an order over two weeks ago and experienced significant delays with no proactive communication from the company. Despite multiple follow-ups, I only received vague responses blaming the manufacturer, with no concrete timeline provided. Even after being assured my order would ship "soon," more days passed without any updates or progress.

What made this worse was the lack of transparency during the ordering process—no warnings about potential delays were displayed for the items I purchased. Customer service was underwhelming, as I had to repeatedly reach out to get even minimal updates. This kind of service is unacceptable for an online retailer.

I appreciate that unforeseen delays can happen, but better communication and some form of acknowledgment (or compensation) for the inconvenience would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this has left me hesitant to shop here again.

"Terrible customer service"

edit: as of 15/1/2025, the helmet i ordered that got discontinued came back in stock and i decided to order it since you cannot get it anywhere else, though it was significantly more expensive than my original purchase, i knew at least i would get my money back if it happened again. messaged them to ask if i could get a difference refund as i had previously ordered it during black friday, though took 3 weeks for a response. today they have sent me a refund of the difference so credit where due, updating my score based on this though based on my experience up until now, i cannot fairly give an outstanding rating. 3 stars for mediocre should suffice.

quite possibly one of the worst experiences ive had with a retail company.
i ordered a helmet during black friday, after 3 days of no info on my delivery, checked to find out my delivery was delayed, it took them a week to respond after i asked whats happening. they said they were waiting for their supplier. a week later, order status was changed to discontinued, for a helmet they had in their black friday sale. i saw the helmet elsewhere, i shouldve ordered from them instead... now im out of luck as i cant find it anywhere and its no longer black friday, this helmet was also meant to be a christmas present.
credit where due, i was refunded... but it took them a week, as of writing this, christmas is next week. the responses i did get were incredibly unsympathetic

just adding on from this due to the response below... im not sure if it was even read as i didnt even receive my order! feels like an automated copy pasted response, i rest my case.

"Stay far"

I bought from this website 3 items for the Black Friday. One was available and 2 to order in 3-4 days. After many days I discovered that they did not have anymore the available product at the order time, probably they sold to another customer after my payment. I wrote them 3 emails with no answer and a complete disrespect. I escalate the case to PayPal to have back the money. Buying from them I did not buy from other during the black Friday and I lost the opportunity to save money from other more serious seller.

Because they answered in Italian, it is the right thing to translate in Italian my original complaint as follow.
Ho acquistato da questo sito web 3 articoli per il Black Friday. Uno era disponibile e 2 da ordinare in 3-4 giorni. Dopo molti giorni ho scoperto che non avevano più il prodotto disponibile al momento dell'ordine, probabilmente lo avevano venduto a un altro cliente dopo il mio pagamento. Ho scritto loro 3 email senza risposta e con totale mancanza di rispetto. Ho inoltrato il caso a PayPal per riavere indietro i soldi. Acquistando da loro non ho acquistato da altri durante il Black Friday e ho perso l'opportunità di risparmiare denaro da altri venditori più seri.
Aggiungo altro che ritardo non hanno voluto rispondere alle email se non a quella di PayPal con il rimborso.

"Avvisate se siete in ritardo con le spedizioni "

Ho acquistato da loro un casco Arai quantic durante il black friday, il prezzo è stato sicuramente il punto di forza sul loro sito c’erano ottimi sconti, la cosa negativa è stata che dopo aver effettuato il pagamento ed aver ricevuto la mail di conferma ho dovuto aspettare una settimana prima che mi mandassero la mail con il codice di tracking della spedizione, ho provato a scrivere una mail ma senza ricevere risposta, ed ho dovuto chiamare per sapere che causa ritardi legati all’ingente numero di ordini erano in ritardo con le spedizioni.
Va bene essere in ritardo però mandare una mail di avviso sarebbe stato gradito.
Ps nella confezione si sono dimenticati di aggiungere gli adesivi, poco male ma su 600€ di casco sono piccoli dettagli che sono graditi.
Comunque continuerò sicuramente ad acquistare sul loro sito.
