I was called by a sales lady who asked if she could quote me. I explained I live in a small studio in a sheltered complex and was a very low user of electric. To my surprise she came up with a saving of £60 a year. I signed up and have been very satisfied no problems and my direct debit has even been reduced to £16 per month - well done EBS Energy.

Unfortunately had an issue with their car charging point ESB Ev. Over a space of a month, I went to charge my car 5 times with this company. However the connection kept dropping and would end my charge after 10 minutes each time. I called the call center on each occasion and the team would reboot the system. However their again the charging point disconneted. So decided to cancel my subscription and as I explained to Conner with all the issues that I had faced and he could see in his system! Conner (ESB) then decided to change me for my next month's subscription, even tho on 5 occasion they were unable to provide a service and their has been an issues with their terminal! Thankfully I don't have this issue with anyother company. Please think twice before signing up!

"Smart meter died no gas, not so smart"
Early hours of boxing day my not so clever smart meter on gas box decides to pack in, cutting off gas,
No heating, hot water or hob, Christmas over weekend so public holidays Monday and Tuesday. Esb energy don't have a out of hours help line, only work 9-5 Monday - Friday.
Contacted SGN but they only deal with gas leaks and meter unit not the smart meter attached. Esb emergency line only for gas leak and explosion. Day 4 without heating, hot water or gas hob, have to wait until Wednesday 29th until try and contact.
Not happy bunny, smart meter not that clever.
Got through on 29th, call handler was nice, advised getting sorted within 3 hours, fabbydoo.

Disappointed with service throughout...worse energy company I have ever had to deal with and a rip off as well....not transparent....stay away

Went with esb after a nice sales rep sold me the dream of renewal energy at cheap prices bla bla, had an issue with my meter reading from day one, called several times to never get a call back, decided to email still no reply, emailed again still nothing, there app is useless and confusing , entice you in with cheaper monthly payments then up it the second month, have since moved house, called with my final readings and the chap on the phone couldn't have been any less bothered , customer service is awful. Have set up with edf now and they couldn't have been more helpful. DO NOT TOUCH THESE COWBOYS.

Called ESB Customer Service this morning to close my account for my previous property and give up to date meter readings, I managed to get through to a lovely girl called Megan who dealt with my query efficiently as well as being extremely friendly. Credit to your company.

Still waiting for an acknowledgement from this appalling company after making a complaint over the phone and giving further information on Trustpilot.
ESB have taken money from my account which isn't theirs to take. I have paid my final bill in full and they have taken a further £20. I am now £20 in credit with an energy supplier I no longer use. I am beyond furious and all I want to do is sever ties with this company.

This is the worst energy company I have ever gone with! They never call you back! Like to call you a lier, and take more money than they quoted! I have meters readings but they only have knowledge of 2! But say they have never had one, estamat your readings instead!

Do not touch this company...been waiting for a meter to be fitted. Rang several times and e-mailed. Told someone would be coming out and 5 months later we are still waiting!!!
Do not change to this company - awful customer service
