"Poor items and no refunds"

I ordered an Apple Watch, I was sent a badly scratched one, clearly no refurbishment had happened. I returned it recorded delivery as requested by their customer service but still no refund and it’s been a month now. Wowcher aren’t helping either so I’m out of pocket. I would recommend avoiding this company.

"Look elsewhere - too good to be true"

I was quite excited to order myself a small MacBook Air - even if it was 10 years old. It was to be the perfect portable WP for the simple things. For only £150 (a discount if 50% on Wowcher)

The delivery was fine, if a day late.

The Laptop was on the surface a little more battered than expected - a usb port was bent slightly, a few dings on the case and around the screen. Underneath it was worse - three screws were missing from the case and the bottom panel was coming away at the edges.

I switched it on. Nothing. Ok so I expected to have to charge it. Plugged it in. The cable was slightly faulty, needed the old “bend it slightly” - luckily I had another cable from my work laptop. I plugged in and charged it for about three hours until light was green.

I turned it on. Screen flickered slightly. I set the laptop up on the power cable and all seemed fine. Updated to Big Sur etc etc.

Unplugged the cable at 100% 15 mins later the laptop shut down while I was typing. I turned on and the battery was at 2%. I recharged overnight. Tried again next day - same. Battery was less that 70% capacity and actually got worse.

I started to worry and found this site with reviews and slowly realised I probably wouldn’t get any further - I had sent an e-mail about postage which had been responded to so actually I was hopeful.

I decided to take matters into my own hands and for £50 bought a replacement battery, screws and tools. Replaced the battery myself and now everything is fine.

For anyone else - I would not do this again or go through this company - just because of the uncertainty and lottery of actually getting a decent product.

"Day light scamners"

I had ordered an ipad from them nearly 4 months ago no refund so far. Sent 2 weeks later when my family had departed abroad. Wowcher also got involved went backward and forward on the messages on email and messages but no reply of refund. Very poor customer service from both companies. Would not buy even selling for £1.

"Their company website breaks the law"

Their company website breaks the law in several regards:

No company reg number
No address
No phone number or email address

They dispatched an Acer Chromebook, supposedly refurbished but in pretty poor condition and more importantly with a Lenovo branded charger

Eventually got them to send an Acer branded charger but it was still the wrong type - a quick Google told me that this model uses an USB-C DC charging port but they'd dispatched a round pin type

They then insisted on me sending photos of the charger next to the port and then went quiet. Meanwhile Wowcher said that they'd dispatched the charger and didn't even read the email trail to see that it was incorrect.

Trying to get a refund through PayPal...

I originally wrote a review saying poor customer service etc. I have to say my views have changed after having 5 star customer service off an advisor called Josh. My query was dealt with promptly and he was a really nice guy. MacBook I received is in great working order and although it was refurbished, it looked brand new. Recommended this company!!

"TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT"

I bought a reconditioned Acer Chromebook from Woucher.
When it came it was not the model advertised on TV. It was the older model. It was scratched and came with wrong charger. After over 20 ridiculous emails I was sent a replacement charger. Guess what. Yes it was exactly the same. After more than another 20 emails they said they sent another replacement. 8 days later I'm still waiting. I know they never sent it as the second was posted 24h delivery. I plugged my fone charger in and when battery was on full ,it lasted 1h 17m. I'm furious with this so called business. I'm angry that Woucher would not even reply to my WhatsApp msg.
How can both these company's trade. Please Please Please don't buy reconditioned electronics from Woucher. I promise you ,you will be bitterly disappointed. I know . What an absolute SHAM. !!!

Absolute disgrace of a company, ordered a refurbished laptop through wowcher which didn’t arrive, several attempts through contact with them and still no laptop or refund! Criminals which I will be reporting to the ombudsman

"Don’t waste your money or time"

Don’t waste your money or time! Stuff they sell not even good enough for use. If you rigorously test your products you wouldn’t even use them yourselves. They refuse to give you delivery refund, don’t even send return details and ignore consumer complaints. Unethical!

"I ordered a very cheap laptop"

I ordered a very cheap laptop, wasn't expecting much for just under £50 as it does state they are refurbished but I am extremely happy with the laptop I received, a few scratches was all I saw and it works perfectly. I have ordered a second for my daughter to use for school work. And I will definitely use them again in the future. I think everyone has different expectations for items but for what I paid I am extremely happy woth my purchase

I would not even give 1 star!! SCAMMERS!!!! I orderd a phone through wowcher for my daughters birthday on the 8th march.
No sign of it so I got in touch and They apologise for it being late and said if I would accept the phone in black rather than the colour I chose , they could respost it and i would get it on the 14th march.. Saturday came.. no sign !! My Daughters birthday was the 27th.. no sign ..28th came and I want my money back !!! Absolute shambles. To say I am Disappointed is a huge understatement. My daughter had no main gift to open because of this company for her big bday. They should not be allowed to do this!!! A whole month.. .. a ruined birthday.. after them trying to bargain me to change the colour.. a promise to get it on the saturday.. for it to not come atall.. 10pounds delivery I paid to not deliver it. They have had 210 pound of my money .. for nothing but stress and inconvenience !! NEVER AGAIN!!!
