"Harassing number of unsolicited calls"

I must have had about 20 calls off this company in the last fortnight, from at least 4 different numbers, all of which have gone unanswered (after reading reviews I’m happy I didn’t answer!), no idea who it was until I’ve had time to waste on sitting and checking them all to see who is it that’s been harassing me every day of the week. I will be blocking every one of them now!! Note to company - this is really not the way to entice people in, stalking them down.

If I do want my washer fixed, I support local business.

Absolutely not the case!
Had 8 engineers visit having 5 mechanical repairs over a 9 week period!
Leaving me without a working fridge freezer! Insurers were happy to just keep sending an engineer out to try to fix appliance!!
Finally resulting in a £300 payout for a fridge freezer that cost me over £700! So nowhere near covers the cost of replacing the item!!
Not worth the paper it’s written!
Very clever with their wording!

"Absolutely con artists "

I have been with this company for 2years 2month I phone for a repair on my tumble drier which I like to add isn’t the only appliance that I have covered with them to be told no engineers available for 7 to 8 weeks so they want to cancel my policy, and want to reimburse me two payments , I so angry that I left domestic and general for this company I think that they do this as the tumble drier is very old and needs replacing so they just say they can’t get a engineer so they can cancel you policy if I was you steer clear of this company they ain’t worth the money you are paying . Get insurance for peace of mind , surly as a company it is there job to find a engineer so I now have to get a new tumble drier at my cost absolutely disgusting should be ashamed of there self’s taking peoples money but don’t want to give you the service you paid for I also like to add was told no engineers available then to be told hot point rejected the repair so my question is what one is it and if it was rejected how? as they haven’t seen machine to see what’s a matter with it so this just validates that appliances is to old so they would have to replace. please don’t go with this company your just throwing money away the best insurance company is domestic and general should never have changed , well you learn by your mistakes KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !

"Phishing scam beware "

Beware possible scammers phising information. My partner received a call, they knew his name and address and claimed there was a delivery of a new washing machine and wanted to know how it was going. This never happened. They never ordered a new washing machine nor had any repairs. Very very suspicious call.

I was told by David that because they couldn't get an engineer for my specific brand of washing machine and it could take 8 weeks at the minimum the best thing they could do was to CANCEL the entire policy and there and then cancelled everything..

So I'm without a washing machine and only 1 payment returned.

They called me about my warranty on the washing machine ending.

The washing machine is all in my partners name and details. Yet they used my name and phone number.

When I pointed this out she put the phone down on me.

Awful waited 2 weeks for an engineer visit then they went to the wrong address. Still waiting. The first time I had to call them . No confidence I think it will be easier to buy a new fridge freezer. Don’t spend your money

Washing machine is leaking on the side call the company. They have no engineers on my area and they decide to cancel my policy. Disgusting people rude guy answer the phone and they say from 6 to 8 weeks we might have an engineer in your area then the guy say up in this case, we’re gonna cancel the policy and refund the money do not trust this company
