"Tote bag "

I bought a tote bag. I wanted black so bought one which l thought had a zip. I used the link from a vogue magazine recommendation. The bag was on offer reduced by £100. I added personalisation and no where did it say that you couldn't return it if you had this done.
The bag arrived but no zip making it unsafe to use.
When l looked again the bags been reduced by half from what I'd bought in the sale. I've rung and emailed but they won't change anything because of the personalisation. I think this is very unfair because it doesn't tell you this when you buy it and they charge you extra for it.
I will never ever buy anything from this company again. I am devastated as it was a lot of money that lve wasted and l have a very expensive bag that l can't use.
It might have helped had they tried to be a bit more flexible and accommodating

30/12/24 Since writing this l have emailed and phoned the head office twice and been promised a response from a manager but no one has phoned me back. I know that l ordered a bag without a zip but it wasn't clear at the time and the company although polite when they phone you don't follow up on anything. I was hoping to ask that they adjusted the personalisation tab so that it's clear you can't return if you add this even though they charge extra for this.
It's a shame that a British company with good quality products doesn't follow up and gives the impression that they don't really care
7.01.2025 Feeling much better now as they have agreed to take it back and l will be getting a credit note
28.1 2025 No update on my credit note or if l can use it in the shop or just on line
