Get ready to receive one quote then another for 50% more the day of the move. What a crap company.

"Broken/damaged goods"

At first this seemed like an amazing moving company, cheaper than the rest and had great reviews. Sadly I was mistaken. We were given the delivery estimate of 7-21 business days. When it was getting close to the deadline and I still didn’t have my stuff I called for an update. The person on the phone was very nice but gave me the wrong information. When my stuff did not arrive on Friday like she said I decided to reach out, because it was after business houses I had to text. I got no response to there “after hours text line” so I called on Monday. It was then I was informed my deadline wasn’t until the following Tuesday. Fine, at least I have the right info and should expect my stuff.

When my stuff finally arrived it was all FIRE damaged. It smelt like a bonfire, almost all boxes were smoke stained and some even water damaged from what I would imagine was them trying to put the fire out. Many of the boxes were squashed or ripped including my two flat screens. We had to have the driver leave everything in our driveway so our new house doesn’t smell like fire.
Never once did I get a call notifying me that this had happened from gold standard. I only got this information because the driver shared it with me. On top of that, the fire happened the first week of 5 that my stuff was in storage so it just sat absorbing the smell. I called gold standard and was redirected to a claims line. Now I get to wait and hope that I get reimbursement for all the stuff I’m going to have to get rid of and buy new.

"Punctual and clean movers!"

We hired them to pack up our things the day before, so we had the crew for two days. Both days they were on time, friendly, and very careful with our belongings. The move was by far the easiest move that I've ever had. I am really so impressed with them. Highly recommend!

"Criminal moving gangs"

Worst customer service, does not do any moving or storage simply hires criminals to come to your house and hold you up for more cash using leverage like they got your stuff or you're on the last day in the last hour of your moving date and your house is due to close. Then the price is 12000 more than gold standard bid and they turn a blind eye to it. Their carriers are nothing but criminals.

"Stay Away"

Stay away! The rep was pushy and rude when I told him that I needed time to decide on a moving company. He said to me, and I quote, "I don't like saying this to a woman but, my manager just dropped her panties for you", referring to the price he quoted me. When I told him that I wasn't going to put a deposit down, he said that I'm not the type of customer they want and hung up.

"Scam"

Please do not go with this company for your move they were horrible and be cautious about all the good reviews they have because I don’t believe them. When I informed the agent that I will give them a bad review he replied ok, so obviously they don’t care about their customers. They will tell you they have trucks already coming to your area but after speaking to the little random company they hired to do the job I found out that was a lie and on top of that the company never showed up. They gave excuse after excuse and refused to refund our deposit. They lied about being able to schedule the drop off. Horrible experience. After my experience with this company I’m very weary about positive reviews because there’s no way they should have as many stars as they have. It’s all a lie.

"Excellent!"

On-time, excellent, careful handling of goods, and safe same-day delivery. Great service, excellent communication before, during, and after the job - and a great price too! Recommended!

"Don't do it!!!!!!!"

Don't do it!!!!!!!! This company pressured my husband to make a decision when we were not ready to! They only allowed an e-check rather than a credit card and after reading horrific reviews and tried to cancel, nobody answers the phone. We were able to close our bank account to avoid the deposit from going through as we felt this company would never return it if we didn't. All the positive reviews are fake, this company appears to be a SCAM and I was terrified to use them once I had a chance to do my homework!

"RUN FOR YOUR LIFE"

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! Multiple items were stolen, broken and missing. Company raised my price three different times. They contract out with low end unprofessional movers. Absolute nightmare! My rep Kimber Taylor lied every step of the process and they won’t reimburse the stolen, broken or damaged items. Look at YELP reviews for real reviews

"Do Not Use"

We walked through our inventory of items to be moved with them about a month ago and they gave us an estimated pickup date of 6/5-6/7 and an estimate of $3100 to move from Ohio to Florida. We gave them our deposit and hadn't heard from them by 6/1 so I called to find out the exact pickup date. They asked to re-visit the inventory at which point they doubled our price and said the rates had changed and we needed more shipping space. We spent multiple hours on hold and on the phone with them trying to understand why the price had doubled, at which point we asked for a refund which they've denied. We've been told numerous lies and still have not received a refund. We've also been cursed at and hung up on.
