"I’m sticking with Starkey Livio AI"
My new Livio hearing aids continues to demonstrate Starkey’s leadership in noise filtering technology, integrating new features that provide valuable data and easy to use software. I had the opportunity to demo other brands and found Starkey Livio AI to have a more natural sound. Not tinny at all. Starkey is continuing to improve the softwares stability and adding new features to drive usage. Software development is a dynamic process and I am sticking with Starkey.

"Starkey Livio 2400 rechargeable Hearing Aids for 3 months"
Livio 2400: These are great hearing aids. I've had them for 3 months. I have developed memories in the Thrive software for the office, dinners out, family gathering (lot's of small kids), and parties. For me, these hearing aids add depth and richness to sounds around me that far exceeds my last pair. These are exemplary.
Only irritation I have is the lack of connectivity for streaming on google OS phones, PCs, or console games. Even my 5 year old hearing aids could connect to anything with a blue tooth signal.
While clearly this a a 1st world problem, I really wish these hearing aids had android connectivity at least, and ideally, full range blue tooth streaming capability across platforms at best. Starkey does it for IOS.
These hearing aids do what they're designed to do and for me, they do it extremely well.

"I purchased a hearing aid to attempt to…"
I purchased a hearing aid to attempt to alleviate my tinnitus. I returned it under the Starkey trial period. My local dealer apparently holds people money for an ENTIRE 30 days before returning it. I informed Starkey about this dealers practice and they could care less. A product is only as good as it dealers. Think twice before purchasing anything from Starkey as they will not do anything to help you if you have dealer problems. I have had no problem with the Sigma dealer I am working with now. I purchased a ReSound hearing aid to try and returned it. Got the refund that day. I am now using Sigma with much better relief for my tinnitus.

"The first set of hearing aids lasted a…"
The first set of hearing aids lasted a little over a year before they started making a loud screeching noise. They were replaced by Starkey with supposedly the latest and greatest model. I was told that the remainder of my warranty would transfer to the new aids. They have never worked correctly, and I can hear almost as good without them as I can while wearing them. My warranty has since expired, and they wanted another $300.00 per year for each hearing aid. Really disappointed with Starkey, and contacted customer service. Was told to contact VA for new hearing aids or go back to the hearing aid center that programmed them to see if they can help.I paid over $5000.00 for these out of my own pocket. Really hurts when you are on a fixed income, and get the run around.
UPDATE 10/21/2019
Well I called Starkey this morning as requested, and all I can say is what a waste of time it was. The customer service agent was polite, but was unable to help me at all. He suggested I return the hearing aids to Starkey for repair, and since they are out of warranty I would be responsible for the cost of repairs. I suggested that he contact Mountain View Hearing Center to have them check the programming, but was told that was not his department and that I would have to contact a sales representative.Really sorry customer service from Starkey, and I will remember this and tell everyone I know to stay away from this brand. I have read some of the other reviews on here, and see that almost all of them have been told to call Starkey and discuss their problems. I'm sure they have had the same reply I received. Thanks Starkey for a complete waste of $5000.00 for something that did not last 2 years.

"The IPHONE APP has major problems that…"
The IPHONE APP has major problems that affect the hearing aids. The connections can get lost when
the phone is used for making a call or receiving messages. Since there is no on/off button on the hearing aids you can be in trouble until you are able to get back to the charger to reset the aids. This is a real problem and at times it can make the hearing aids unusable since the settings can be altered when this happens. If this can not be corrected a plain remote control would be better but then the price of the aids is no longer justifiable.

"I am very pleased with the hearing…"
I am very pleased with the hearing aides and service. My only complaint is that when I purchased them, I was told that a heart monitoring app was available that could communicate with my doctor. As I have A. Fib and a leaky valve plus stents in my heart I wanted this. So far I have been told that the app is not available yet. I would be more comfortable if I had this app.

"BestQualityProduct/LiveCustomerService"
Best quality product that meets and/or exceeds the patient’s needs. And one of the only few companies that don’t have a recording when calling. I love that a real life person answers the phone and transfers me to whichever department is needed at the time of call. I don’t have to sit through 5 minutes of menu options and push numbers and then be on hold for another 3-5 minutes like most of these other manufacturers out there.
