I have been using Srarkey hearing aids for years. They always stay up with technology. I now can use the telephone with out any problem.

I have had my Starkey hearing aids for about 2 years. They have been back to factory several times and each time they seem to just get worse. They make weird noises out of the blue not feed back squeal but something else. They quit working at the first slight hint of sweating at times if I have a wall car window or anything else solid within 3 ft of my head they start feedback squeal so driving with them on is almost impossible. They have both been replaced according to Starkey 3 times now and repaired more. I would never recommend Starkey to anyone. I bought them as my first hearing aides because they are supposedly American made, don't know if they really are but they are junk. They have been messed up for about a month now but I have been too busy to mess with them will probably be sending them back again soon. At least so far it hasn't cost me anything for repairs but what good is a long warranty if they are constantly broke.

UPDATE 5/21/20 I sent them back again and they were supposedly replaced again but less than 3 weeks problems recurred. Finally found a solution bought Costco brand that cost 1500 for the pair not 4600 like starky and all my problems have vanished. The Costco don't plug when I sweat and don't make weird noises out of the blue and no feed back squeal. They also do blue tooth to Samsung galaxy and any other smart phone without any extra hardware. Starky muse hearing aids are now in a desicant jar in my sock drawer for almost 3 months at 6 months if no issues with the Costco cheapies they will see the trash

I am hearing better with my new hearing aids, but not as good as I had hoped for. I am still getting adjusted, and use to, my hearing aids, so I am hoping for better results in time. I will continue to do what I am told to do and diligently follow all directions given to me, but I am hoping for more success then I have experienced at this time. I like the people who tested me and the treatment I have gotten from them in every way....I just wish I had better results, especially considering how much my hearing aids cost me. Time will tell.
