"Top quality"

Amazing customer service, ordered the anakin graflex saber with neopixel and proffie board. It said 5-12 days delivery time but got here even quicker than that. Great customer service as replies to my emails were very quick! Only downside is there is no blade retention screw with the saber(need to find out what screw I need) but all in all great quality service.

"Very Disappointing"

We ordered a Light Saber for my son who had saved his pocket money and worked at the weekends to raise the £300 for the lightsaber he was after. He found the Kenobi Fx Lightsaber which was listed on the Galactic Saber UK website for £299.99, we were fortunate enough to order it with a discount code so had £45 knocked off the price.
We ordered this on the 3rd May 2021 it took a few weeks to arrive but as the COVID restrictions have impacted on everything this year this was not an issue.
When we attempted to assemble the lightsaber we discovered that there was very little room for the blade to fit into the hilt meaning that there as only a clearance on 6mm at the end of the blade for the screws to get a hold. As soon as my son tried to swing the lightsaber over his head the blade fell off. Assuming that I was assembling this wrong I contacted the seller and had a quick response from Gedi Gina (Georgina Thackery) who sent me photo’s of the screws and allen key to use (the ones I had used) after chatting back and forth I explained that I felt the blade was not fitting in to the hilt properly and did not have enough room to be secure.
This is when Gedi Gina stopped answering my messages! I did explain that my son had save hard for this item and that he was very upset that he could not use it, I asked several times if they could help, I tried calling the mobile no on the website not getting any response from that or the emails.
In the end my partner bought a tool to grind out the inside of the blade so that it was tapered and slid in over the light housing giving more room to fit, this has now fixed the problem but over all this was a very disappointing experience with little or no assistance.

"Avoid"

Avoid. You will find that they will remove any negative comments that are posted on here. I had a genuine purchase ( I have an email where they acknowledge my purchase is genuine) and they have removed my negative comment as the saber was not good quality and very over priced. The customer service is terrible.

"Bad customer service"

My saber arrived slightly late which wasn't really a problem except there was no blade in the box. They did send a replacement straight away but they also promised a £30 refund plus postage refund both of which I never received. The battery in the saber doesn't hold a charge, I messaged them and they ignored my messages. I had to find a replacement myself. I also emailed them many times and got no response. I would never buy anything from these guys again and I would recommend others stay well clear. Customer service and honesty are sadly missing.

"I Kenobi proffie/xenopixel"

I bought the Kenobi proffie/xenopixel and I couldn't be happier. The hilt is sturdy and we'll built (however not for dueling due to the thin neck) the premium sound fonts are incredible, lots of nice combinations. Jedi Gina was also very quick to reply and very helpful with my questions. The saber arrived precisely 6 days after the order but I did buy it on May 4th so I guess lots of orders! Extremely positive experience with Galactic Sabers!

"Not worth the money and the wait."

The light sabre arrived after 3 weeks, from Hong Kong. This company says they are in the UK, but they are just a front for the company in Hong Kong. The lightsabre arrived and within a week it was malfunctioning. Contact was made with their customer services and after a week of chasing we finally got a reply. it then took a few more days before they agreed to send a replacement for the faulty part. 3 weeks later and the replacment arrived, which looked like someone had just bodged a few pieces together and posted it off. It looked nothing like the original part, and even worse didn't even come with the correct connector. The item is still faulty and after a week of waiting for customer services to reply, we are still waiting. I would suggest anyone wanting to buy something from this company consider elsewhere as their quality of elctronics/parts is shocking and thier customer service is even worse. After spending £300 of his own money on the light sabre my son is wishing he hadn't seen all the fake 1 post reviews on trust pilot that recommended the company, especially the likes of the one that said it came the next day after ordering.

Update, took a few comments on their facebook page to actually get a response, then a claim that there must be an email problem, the 3 emails all arrived at the same time, all sent at the same time, one of them saying that they've removed my negative comment and banned me from their page, along with reporting me to facebook for spamming them. Seems they don't like bad reviews and only want to help when they get negative reviews/comments. Not the way a company should be run.

14th July 2021 Update
We received a brand new replacement which took about 4 weeks, even though they said within a week. They also promised as good will compensation a free basic light saber which would arrive within a week. It is now 6, 7, 8 weeks later and despite between 10 and 20 emails being sent, the free light saber has not materialised. Even worse, none of the emails have been responded to. Lets just say, if I could give 0 stars then I would.

3rd August update
Despite many more emails being sent and ignored the compensatory lightsabre Has not appeared and even more emails have been ignored. The only consolation is that the replacement is still working.

08/11/21 update

It is now 3 months since my last update. after months of waiting, out of the blue the wife received an email from galactic sabres to say that they hadn't been able to respond due to a death in the family. Come on you expect me to believe that when you claim you have a factory in wales, so therefore you have other staff working for you. Always excuse after excuse. We are now a month later and still no sign of the promised compensatory ligntsabre. You wanted me to remove this negative review, but I'm afraid it doesn't work like that, especially when you cannot do what you said you would do. You Michael and your company are a disgrace.

"Awful customer service and delays"

Unfortunately, I need to add to the weight of the other reviews in regards to delivery, order update and customer service.

I've ordered a saber a month ago.
Due to unforseen circumstances following a death and a discovery of illness in our family, we've had to relocate to our home country of France.

I've been trying to get in touch with them for what seems to be an eternity. I have received a single email saying "Your saber will be sent tomorrow, will that be okay?". I answered that message and never heard from them afterwards.

I've arrived in France today 22/04/2021 and the saber ordered on the 24/03/2021 is nowhere to be seen or at least, I have no idea where it presently is.

I have gotten in touch with my bank and will revert payment. I will not pay for an item not delivered and that poor of quality of the customer service.

Some updates.
The delivery has been getting to a point where it is preposterous. Following this review, someone from Galacticsaber got in touch with me. Shortly thereafter, the order finally left with a tracking number.
The parcel was set for pickup on the 23/05/2021.
Today, on the 13/05/2021, I have learned (from tracking the parcel myself through the UPS website) that since 30/04/2021 my parcel has been sitting there waiting for Galacsaber to send them one piece of paper.
Today, UPS returned the package to the sender due to not receiving what was needed.

Make of this information what you will, but I would suggest a hard pass as it stands.

"ordered a saber on jan 17th 2021"

ordered a saber on jan 17th 2021, it is now april 21st 2021 and i have not recieved the saber, or any communication from the company since the order confirmation on the day of purchase. to say the customer service was lacking is a majour understatement, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY if you actually want to get the product.

"Do not order from this website!!"

Ordered and received my dark saber at the start of the year but there has been nothing but issues since I received it. The buttons look nothing like what I received, it doesn’t turn red on impact and was missing screws to actually attach the blade to the hilt. I don’t even attempt to turn it on anymore, don’t fancy paying £280 odd for it to just sit on my wall. I’ve tried emailing back twice now about what the tech guys thoughts are but nothing, I would honestly avoid this company. I won’t be ordering from them again!

"This is a quality saber and…"

This is a quality saber and communication with Michael was sound throughout.
The finish and function of the sabre is class (though some character clips are repeated on the sound board, the light and fx are amazing).
The only thing I would like changed is the garflex stamp on the bracket of the hilt. Other wise a very sound gift.
I cant wait to get another one!
