"Light sabre arrived today,via FedEx"

Light sabre arrived today,via FedEx, well packed, and comes in a hard case. Son is really happy with it. After reading a lot of negative reviews once we had purchased the sabre, we did panic a bit. Like others say, no response to emails requesting update, which was very frustrating. If I'd have known it was a case of being patient and it can take 5 weeks I would have relaxed and excepted this. Customer services really need to keep their customers in the loop, after all we have parted with a lot of money. All in all, my son happy with his sabre.

"Pleasantly surprised."

Good evening everyone I thought I’d place my experience here after seeing the negative reviews. I ordered my Sabre on the 27th of December and understood it could take a while with the Christmas break. Like everyone I emailed for an update and thought I’d been ignored, however I recommend checking your junk emails as the reply actually ended up in there the next day. I have now received my Sabre and couldn’t be happier with it (19th January) I understand they came back from Christmas break on the 13th January so I within a week it had been put together, shipped from Hong Kong and arrived in London to me through FEDEX. All in all, I was worried when I ordered this as £350+ pounds were spend but I am happy with the service.

"When it finally came!"

The product itself (when it finally came) is great. The quality is fab, my partner loves it and wont put it down, it's just a shame the rest is such a let down. The customer service was terrible and there was little to no communication. Delivery was not on time and delayed massively and updates from the company were practically non existent, despite numerous attempts made. There is also no contact number. The delivery IS NOT FREE so its falsely advertised on the website. YES it is a UK company however they build and ship from Saudi Arabia, so you get charged regardless, also think it looses its quality a little, as being made and sold in the UK would have been pretty epic.
The instructions are also pretty poor, it's simple to get use too after some time but it comes with no manual. This is a pdf online however is hardly an a4 page long and tells you next to nothing.
All in all.. great product when it eventually came, however the whole service, website and delivery needs to be improved.

"Arrived on time and well packaged"

We ordered our lightsaber on 22nd November and it arrived via DHL Express on the 8th December. Having read the Terms and Conditions and Privcy Policy before purchase we were aware that whilst being a UK company products could be exported from Asia. We were also aware of the custom chargers. It was well packaged and only opened on Christmas Day as it was a present. The setup instructions are not easy to follow and could be improved. However, if you allow yourself a little time to think it through you get there in the end. The light sabre itself is of excellent construction and looks amazing. We ordered a case to go with it which was also of excellent quality. A pleasant surprise was the acrylic stand that also came with it.

"Really disappointed"

Really disappointed. As per the other reviews, I've not received any communication regarding my order, despite sending multiple emails and messages. I ordered before the Christmas deadline and the item still hasn't arrived.

"PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP"

UPDATE: so heard from GS on 26th December to say that there was a “Glitch” with orders placed on 20th November and the order wasn’t processed, they asked if I wanted to continue with the order or have a refund.. I opted for the refund which I have still not received and no further response despite yet more emails!

Needless to say I am very disappointed and quite frankly very angry that my emails haven’t been responded to and item not received!

"BAD customer service. GOOD saber."

Two key areas with this company. They are lying on the website as it is not a UK company but sabers come from Saudi Arabia. Customer service is non existent and they do NOT answer your emails.
However. The saber did arrive before Christmas as requested and it looks good quality if a little expensive hence 3 stars.

"AVOID. Sabers are not made in uk. Owner ignore you and can't handle negative feedback."

Terrible customers service and misleading website.

Like everyone else, all communication are ignored unless you try get refund from paypal then you just get single reply saying most of bad reviews are fake. I now try cancel order but owner went back to hiding. Looks like I'll need help from paypal to get full refund.

As for website, only give same feedback. Owner needs make it alot more clear where lightsaber is made. Website may say their 'UK Company' but if you read the fine print on homepage, you'll see lightsaber are made in Hong Kong, not UK as they want you to think. This needs made more clear on ordering.

Overall, I can not recommend them. I given them fair chance but their just complete let down. Even their facebook page and their etsy store are getting same bad reviews.

24/12/20 Update
The saber has shown up but I had not open package as I want send it back to seller in its original packaging. I just need seller confirm UK address on site since website is not updated ( stuck on black friday sale for weeks now). Hopefully paypal can help me since seller keep ghosting everyone.

8/2/21 Update

I thought this would be end when I got my refund (thanks to paypal) but owner (whose name you can find easily on reply to reviews) have now try remove my review like he does with EVERY negative review he gets. I'm now going add more information about this company. Their etsy store was shut down for lying to customers about where lightsaber, jewellery, knockoff lego set was coming from. On their etsy store, they said items are coming from UK, I made etsy aware that not true and etsy have look into it. Store was shut for breaking etsy rules.

I would also like to add, facebook page's reviews section has been removed because bad reviews he was getting.

My advice to buyers are look else where. There real UK companies either make lightsabers themselves or lgt resellers (which galactic sabers really are. LGT is Chinese company that make and sell sabers which is not owned by Galactic sabers) have same lightsabers in uk warehouse for cheaper price and better customers service.

Update 9/2/21

Owner (who reply to these reviews) has sent me his first and only email (I sent him 2 emails in December with no reply and contact with him was once in paypal). Don't know what he means with "proceed with this issue" since I got refund in January from paypal that he accepted but I'm guessing he really want this negative review removed anyway possible. This review is now "Verified" unlike his good reviews.

7 months later and owner (who I can't not name because he'll try remove review because 'personal information' like using his first name even tho he doesn't mind good reviews using his name) after all else fail is still trying get my review removed. He went as far send fake cease and desist letter from his 'legal team'. The company is pathetic.

"Good service - fantastic product"

Basically a good order/delivery experience - but a fantastic product.
Expect about 3 or 4 weeks for delivery. Mine was coming from abroad (Hong Kong, then Riyadh, it seems). It had 'paused' completely unbeknown to me, awaiting import taxes paid. This is completely on DHL. I only found out cos got bored enough to dig up full tracking details.

The product itself is fantastic, lives up to the hype & my concomitant expectations.

I'd dabbled in 'Master Replicas' sabres - but Galactic Sabres make those look & feel like toys (which maybe they're supposed to be - I don't know).

So overall - this is clearly a genuine outfit, making fantastic products.

Really good quality item love it and it came 3 days before it said it would! Only issue I had was the customer service team didn’t reply to my emails, but having said that it’s a very busy time of the year so I can’t blame them! Abit in the expensive side but well worth it and that’s why I give them a 4/5! Thanks guys!
