Whilst many of the listings were out of date and no longer available in my area, their customer service and process was fantastic.

"Parkhound - a win for all parties"

I've used Parkhound to assist me in storing a number of cars, over multiple lease agreements, in various locations around Melbourne CBD.

The one thing that is unusual about Parkhound relative to most other service providers of a similar ilk is that this mob are actually genuinely there to receive enquiries and to provide solutions - they sincerely bother to actually help bring the customer and the supplier together.

I just wish when I walked around the streets of East Melbourne I didnt see so many empty car spaces (hundreds and hundreds). If people would learn to utilise services like parkhound, whilst exploiting their own assets (car park), the market rates could come down a bit but everyone should be a winner. I see the City of Melbourne dishing out (literally) dozens of parking fines each day around East Melbourne - if only we could open the private car park market up, we could save everybody, and get the council rats off our streets at the same time!

It was really easy to book. Parkhound answered all my questions before I booked the monthly parking spot. The person I am hiring the spot from has been really helpful.

This site is useless. I contacted more than 10 people and only two replied, and only one dragged me for one week then to not reply anymore. Basically wasted two weeks to find a parking spot and nothing.
You can't get hold of anyone. Maybe all those adds are fake, or old adds to show people that they have clients. It's useless, I better stick with what I used before, such as Gumtree.

No idea how to get hold of anyone. Urgently need a garage by tomorrow to move stock to, no reply from bookings which look like they are years old... no answer on the phone to parkhound...

"Parkhound is a total SCAM"

Parkhound is a total SCAM and Rip off! They markup pricing by 20%! all they do is provide a website, poor customer service and feel the need to charge an extra 20%!

Use Gumtree, it's basically free, i got my parking spot rented there.

I did raise it with your customer service team and their reply was basically: 'the small fee is the fee, nothing can be done' But now my response is public you care?

Let me break your 'small' fee down for you. I rent a spot for $300 a month. You charge 20%, thats $60 a month you're taking from my pocket / inflating prices for the public! A 20% markup isn't cheap! Lets say that person decides to renew and rent for the year, thats $720 in fees! really? you think thats small or fair?

If you're reading this use Gumtree, it's pretty much free, you (in my example) get $720 a year extra in your pocket! or you can save the general public looking for a parking spot. Either way is better that using Parkhound the rip off merchants.

Hi Parkhound team and the founder,

Firstly your organization and the people who are dealing with the
customers have NO sense of customer experience and NO value for
customer. Additionally you have no right to threaten the customer by
saying that you will take legal action as you have not signed a legal
contract when booking is done. So you cant legally harm anyone by
threatning and that too for just a small amount of $200. Pity on you
as a business and such a shame on your boss for not teaching you the
customer etiquettes.

This is the most frightening business I have been through! Now I'm
really hounded by Parkhound. This is horrible! All I want was to rent
a car park! Horrible experience !

I really cant understand how much big LIER you are and your organization is.

Also as you have got your commision amount which is $40 that you have
already taken. This is what I was not made aware of that you will be also taking a commision amount from renter neither renter was being made aware of this.

It was really UNFORTUNATE for me to take your services but now I have realized that I have taken the wrong decision by using your services. BIGGEST mistake ever.

I wouldn't bother even think of parking using your website if I know
how terrible your service is.

And I don't understand why you are doing this! A marketing plan to get
famous or what? Whatever the truth, horrible experience !!! Come on
Parkhound. Is this the way to treat loyal customers?

"Don’t use Parkhound"

Parkhound is super glitchy, and not great. The payments take forever to come through. You’re much better off arranging to rent out your carspace yourself using something like Gumtree. That’s what I usually do, and will continue to do after my current booking is finished.
*in response to Parkhound’s response* yes they did call me to “explain the process works”... which just convinced me further that their system is ridiculous.

Park hound charged me for a parking space that the owner didn’t give me access to and 3 weeks later are still refusing to refund me. Everyone beware - these guys are thieves!

Renting progress was easy to follow.

However, I found it is hard to get payment on time. My car space has been rent out on day one, they hold 5 days to pay me on the first payment. And it happen again for my second payment.

I contacted their customer service, I have been told payment would take 1-3working days. It is never happen in day one and two, it is alway happen in day three around 23:00 pm.

Same bank deposit took 3 working days, really?
