"Easy advertising & booking of car space"

Rented my spare car space through Parkhound; it was easy to advertise and the communication around booking was really straightforward. Payment came through a couple of days after the booking which is exactly as expected.

This is an excellent service, have been successfully using Parkhound and Spacer for years.

I’m still currently renting out my car space through Parkhound.
I emailed them 3 times because it’s now been 12 days since the booking started and I still haven’t been paid. They didn’t respond.
So I called them and one of their staff said there had been a “staff communication issue” for the reason I hadn’t been paid. So if I hadn’t called them then who knows when this would have been resolved?
Wouldn’t recommend this app if you expect to get paid quickly or even on time. And don’t expect much from the customer service side of things.

Parkhound means a $50 fee plus rent. For a friend, they also meant an additional booking she never asked for, and weeks of poor customer service trying to arrange her refunds.

I've used the app successfully several times, and had no complaints until it stopped working. As other reviewers have said, it's fine until it's not. Whilst trying to book my regular parking spot today, the app kept shutting down. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and now my password doesn't work. The 'forgot password' function doesn't work. Called the customer service line several times, no answer. Really need to book my a parking space for tomorrow, but can't, with no way to resolve the problem. Terrible customer experience.

I recently rented a car space. After looking around to find the best way of doing it, I thought Parkhound looked very straightforward. They handle the financial side of things and you write the ad and take a photo. It was all very simple and I successfully rented my car space for a few months. No problems so far.
