"Bad business model"
Their business model is smoke and mirrors. They basically have 2 contracts, one for the seller and one for the buyer. They tell the seller that the commission will be paid by the buyer, so when the buyer and seller are discussing price, they are at odds with each other as the price on their app is the buyers contract price but the seller does not know this. And no response from them about email enquiries.

I booked a parking spot a week in advance with Parkhound. I contacted the owner to schedule pickup of the garage keys but they were unresponsive. I chased this up with Parkhound and they told me that the owner was in Europe and couldn't hand over they keys so they'll just cancel AND REMOVE THE LISTING. Not really a problem, there are other spots around our area. After our booking was cancelled, I checked again and suprise suprise, the SAME PARKING SPACE WAS STILL AVAILABLE, but $220 per month more expensive. How could the owner lease this space if they were in Europe? Atrocious how Parkhound allows this kind of behaviour.

I have been attempting to get my bond back for weeks now. They are not responding to my emails or phone calls. They have advised me to contact the host so she can confirm that the listing has been cancelled, however I have explained to them that after numerous attempts I am unable to get onto them. Parkhound are retaining my bond, not the host and the booking has been successfully cancelled so under the terms of contract, I should have received my bond back. The final month was paid and everything has been done correctly on my end.
