"Totally unacceptable"
I ordered a pair of wellies that were showing a despatch of 1-2 days - several days later I enquired why they had not been delivered, to be told they did not have any stock, furthermore, were unable to confirm when they would in stock!
Ordered from another supplier and saved money and further wasted time............AVOID THIS COMPANY

"Dreadful"
I placed an order for a coat in early December for Christmas. After the 3-5 day dispatch date had passed I tried contacting Hollands. They were receiving a "High Volume" of calls. Tried emailing to find out where my order was. They replied saying they would push the order through. After Christmas I then received a message to say that they were still waiting to receive the coat. They should have said that they didnt hold stock. After several emails and telephone calls requesting a refund which were ignored, I eventually managed to speak to someone today who actioned my refund promptly. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Whats more I have order the coat from Equestrian Co. for £30 cheaper and has arrived in the 3 days.

"Swift postage, decent returns process"
First time using this company to purchase some wellies. Postage was swift. An exchange was processed in a reasonable amount of time. A pair returned for refund were posted via their returns label and I received an email to say the return had been received and refund was on its way, which I appreciated. Products received were good quality (Gateway Woodwalker women's wellies, which I love! Just needed to size up 2 whole sizes which would have been helpful to know before purchasing).

"So disappointed"
We are waiting for a delivery of most of my family’s Christmas presents 8 days after placing the (high value) order. All were on 1-2 days dispatch. DPD hasn’t received the goods, despite Hollands saying they were out for delivery, and there is no one manning the phone at Hollands. Google says the company is still in business.
I have no idea what to do, as my children will be going home to Scotland and Yorkshire in the next couple of days.

"Dispatch took 10 days. I incurred delivery and return costs for an item that was too late."
It took ten days from ordering before my item was dispatched. I ordered this in the first week of December in order to avoid this kind of delay. When it didn't arrive in time for the birthday for which it was bought, I started the return process but, since I felt it seemed somewhat unfair to be charged for a return on top of delivery, given that the item was only being returned due to the company's painfully slow dispatch, I contacted the company to see whether a return cost would in fact apply in this case.
In their response they pointed out that there was a note on the item to say dispatch within 3-6 days, and that the item had been dispatched within 6 workings days (10 days inclusive of the weekend) and, as a result, the return charge would still stand. Whilst the onus is clearly on me to have checked said note in this case, I find this misleading, not least because most shoppers expect no more than a couple of days until dispatch the same on delivery.
Like others who have reviewed here, I'd advise shoppers to look elsewhere for reasonable dispatch times. I had to order the item from a competitor in time for a birthday. They not only dispatched and delivered within 3 days but were also cheaper. In the end, my expectations that an item would be dispatched within a few days max meant I incurred delivery and return charges to no end. Don't make my mistake.

I placed an order for a gift for my brother weeks ago and had to chase it up. It then got dispatched that day but it’s disappointing it took so long to be dispatched and it was sent on a 48 hr delivery. I can see it’s been stuck at Edinburgh depo for days and I’m leaving tomorrow morning and now won’t have my gift for my brother. I’ve purchased a few times from Hollands but after this I’ll NEVER purchase anything again!!!!

"Disappointment wrong item sent."
Having ordered on the 9th December and told I would get my order in 5 -7 days nothing arrived for over 12 days and then the wrong size sent.
They do not answer the phone. They do not phone there customers and are slow at responding to emails.
I am very disappointed with this firm so far. I have asked them to send out the correct size for next day delivery as I need this clothing for the 27th December. No response. I have also asked for a return label to be sent to be so I can return the wrong sized item. So far would definitely not recommend this firm.

"6 days delivery, 12 days later - nothing! "
I ordered two items on the 10th December 2024. These were Christmas items. The order confirmed that they would be received within 6 days. Here I am on the 22nd December 2024 with no items. 12 days and my tracking says it hasn’t even been shipped £101 worth of Christmas items I expected delivered by 16th December!!! Disappointed and quite angry that it hasn’t even been shipped and their delivery times are obviously very wrong. I will say, I have ordered from them before (2023) and the item came quickly then. I feel as though this order has been pushed to one side and forgotten.
