"If you like spicy food it’s hard to…"

If you like spicy food it’s hard to find a good mix of meals.
Most meals are spicy and some of the spicy meals don’t even have a spicy tag on them.
Really disappointed with this.

"So far so good"

So far so good, this is my first week of meals with prep kitchen and I’m 7 meals in and every single one has been incredibly tasty. I’m yet to weigh myself to see if I have lost weight but even if you’re not trying to lose weight I would highly recommend as it’s a god send when working full time. The meals are much nicer than your average “ready meal” and are not full of junk. 5*

*edit* I am now 3 weeks in and have lost over a stone in weight so far! I’m so happy with the meals, service and the results. Highly recommend 😊

"So impressed! Definitely a game changer"

I’ve been really busy with work at the moment so have been battling to find the time to cook which left me looking for a food delivery service. I’ve tried HelloFresh and Gusto but wasn’t really impressed. PrepKitchen popped up on an ad so decided to give it a go and I’m so glad I did. The meals are SO TASTY! They always arrive on time and packaged well. I am always super hesitant to buy ready meals due to the calories, cost and the fact they don’t normally taste nice but these meals taste homemade using fresh and good ingredients whilst being calorie counting friendly. Will definitely be using PrepKitchen going forward long term!
(The lasagna is AMAZING)

Meals well packaged and no problem with delivery. Mediocre taste and decided to cancel after two deliveries. Good luck with trying to contact them. Emails are "no reply" and bounce back and the only way to cancel is on the actual website. This is acknowledged, but another payment taken, saying unwanted meals will be delivered the following week. Impossible to speak to an individual. I find this a bit dodgy.

"The review you should pay attention to"

It’s a no. I was persuaded by the many positive reviews and feel a little scammed. The service and logistical side of it is fine. As it should be if you want to ensure a purchase from a customer. The macros are great, but the food tastes awful. One out of 4 meals was edible the rest was right up disgusting. My colleagues at work thought I was exaggerating and tried the food and agreed with me. If you don’t care about good taste and the priority are the macros, then this is a great option. I can make great food with great macros myself and simply wanted to use this service for my lunches at work but all the service and efficient delivery can’t make up for how bad this food tastes. A mix out of hospital, airplane and canteen food 😭
I was holding out hope for my 2nd batch that I had already paid for and unfortunately the food is as gross and the week before. All things considered + the waste this produces it’s a never again for more. PS: my Google account says I’m on Oz (used to live there) but I want to clarify that I’m based in the UK.

"WAIT ANOTHER 7 DAYS AFTER DAMAGED/PERISHED FAILED DELIVERY"

*UPDATE* - To add insult to injury, I was advised at the time a refund had been issued and to allow 2-10 days. Currently still waiting for the refund so today being day 8, I contacted to query if the refund had definitley been issued. No surprise... it hadn't been issued and was advised the following:

"Having looked into this I can see that this refund was requested as offered however there has been an error in the process. That said I have gone ahead and requested this again"

What makes this worse is that I asked to be sent a confirmation email of the refund at the time and received this, when it was all false. You would of thought after the initial issue they would want to get this right at least.
Poor service all round.

I was sent a replacement order free of charge next day after leaving this review but I have to say the meals were nothing special and I was very dissapointed with the quality of meals, which look nothing like the photo's online, they look like mush in a packet. You can easily get similar meals from a supermarket like iceland at a much cheaper price. Two of the meals were also off a day earlier than the sell by date and had to thrown away. I was also surprised at the lack of protective packaging used as there was only brown paper used in the delivery box. Surely some bubblewrap wouldnt go a miss?

No wonder the first delivery was damaged beyond delivery if this is all the meals are being protected by. Definitley not worth the money or hassle, even with 30% off.
Customer service need to improve hugely and it would help if refunds were actually processed and not just say they have been....

I had been waiting for my delivery all evening Sunday and was advised as per DPD tracking that the parcel was damaged/perished so would not be delivered. I contacted Prep Kitchen and asked if they could send a replacement order to me for next day delivery or ASAP.

The meals cant have been packaged and secured very well for this to happen. Surely this is common sense?

I was advised that this is not possible due to stock and that they could transfer my payment over to week 2 meals but would have to wait another WEEK to have them delivered.

I find this extremely poor customer service and cant actualy believe that Prep Kitchen feel its perfectly acceptable to allow a customer to wait another 7 days.

Basically Prep Kitchen have said we can transfer payment over for your week 2 meals which will be delivered as standard next week. In what world is this helpful or practical?

The whole point of me using and Prep Kitchen providing this service is to save time by providing meals and convenience for the week. This "Solution" provides neither.

Appalling customer service. I will be looking to use a competitor, but it shouldn't be difficult to find another company based on your level of customer service.

No meals, no customer service, no care from Prep Kitchen. AVOID

"So much better than expected! "

Prep Kitchen has been such a life saver, we’re a busy couple who were struggling to find time to cook good, balanced food. Our expectations weren’t super high, we thought it would be ok but still essentially a ready meal, but they’re so much better than that. Every meal we’ve had has been delicious and filling, only one or two were a little salty. The variety is pretty good and we haven’t minded the repetition in the 5 weeks we’ve been having deliveries. We’re excited about the two new meals they’ve added!

Customer service were also helpful and efficient when I forgot to add my discount code and sorted this out with no trouble.

We’d like a few more veg in each meal and it would be great to have a couples option as we currently have 10 meals a week and choose 5 each to have on weeknights,
