"Went to book car hire came up with…"
Went to book car hire came up with error car not available, so I rebooked with another hire company through rocket miles successfully. Get to pick up and was told there is two bookings under my name. Hire company said would have to be refunded by rocket miles to which we have been going back and forward with them not admitting liability. Dreadful service would highly recommend avoiding
1 star is being generous. No matter what you reply to all these negative reviews there is an obvious issue that needs to be addressed with rocket miles. Will not be using anything associated with this company again

"After spending a week and hours on the…"
After spending a week and hours on the phone to try redeeming my miles with Alaskan airlines I'm finally told that that rocket miles is in charge of the site. AI kept getting an error when trying to use my miles and kept getting the same answer, " I don't know". So after talking to. Rocket miles they tell me give us 24 hours on top of the 7 days I spent trying to figure it out because of unusual activity. No shit, I've only tried over and over. What a joke. I'd give em zero stars if I could

"This company lies"
This company lies!!! They said the hotel has to approve a refund. The hotel told me that's not true and it's rock miles. I hate this company and will never use them again. Scammers!!!! This is for a hotel stay in July 2025 so their response is not accurate. UPDATE: They now are going to refund me the $400 plus for one night!

"I've tried to book hotels through…"
I've tried to book hotels through American Advantage - over 40+ times. Thirty-seven times counting, it's been an awful experience. After CC input, the website replies that the offer has changed and will go back and re-select. I do this for the same property, and it says the same. I tried another property, and it gave a message about a duplicate booking. An email pops up confirming the first failed attempt & I call Rocket Travel & they can't locate the reservation, but I have an email that posts one.
Rocket's customer service is located in the Philippines, and they are challenged to understand English, so you have to repeat & repeat.
I'm done with Rocket & will suggest at an American Board meeting that Rocket be dropped.

"Rocketmiles: Do Better, Be Better"
After being charged $167.13 by Rocketmiles, I was informed to pay in full for the room for which I had a confirmed reservation in the amount of $127.73. Not only is that nearly $40 less than what I paid to Rocketmiles, but that would be a double charge for a single room.
What became clear to me was that the booking systems among Staybridge Suites, Agoda, and Rocketmiles were not operating seamlessly. Whereas Staybridge sought an additional charge, they did not see that the reservation was paid for on their end. Whereas Rocketmiles provided a customer service representative, who was professional and apologetic, they did not resolve this issue. I had to negotiate with the front desk manager who resolved this matter simply by overriding the system and refusing to charge me additional.
Simple apologies are insufficient when it takes over one hour to resolve an issue where I have paid for a room and then told that the reservation is nonrefundable while not actually having access to a room.
I seriously doubt that I will use Rocketmiles ever again. This is such a deep disappointment given my years of use both nationally and internationally.

"I booked a hotel in Bangkok"
I booked a hotel in Bangkok, choosing payment with miles and cash. The cash payment was processed, and the money was deducted from my card, but the hotel reservation was not completed. A support number from the U.S. appeared on the screen, but it doesn’t answer. Emails have also yielded no results.

"AAdvantage Hotels – A Year and a Half of Missed Opportunities and Vanishing Miles"
Imagine, if you will, a loyalty program that promises miles for your stay, only to deliver confusion, frustration, and disappearing rewards instead. This has been my reality for the past 18 months with AAdvantage Hotels.
At first, it was just a few odd discrepancies—miles advertised as 15,000, only to shrink to 1,500 by the time I clicked "book." But, oh, it didn’t stop there! The price changed, the miles changed, and sometimes the offer just vanished altogether. Every time I thought I was close to booking, the numbers would shift again like a magician’s sleight of hand. "Great news!" they said—"the price dropped by $20!" But with it came a 10x reduction in miles. How generous.
For 18 months, I’ve been stuck in this bizarre loop, being advised to clear my cache, use different browsers, or just keep checking back. Meanwhile, AAdvantage's value has dropped faster than my trust in this platform, especially since the transition to Rocket. Once a decent program, now a shadow of its former self.
The best part? Although the frequency of my use has dropped dramatically since that transition, and while I will continue to use it on the occasion that the value of miles offered justifies the additional cost for a booking, it seems apparent that the frequency of those occasions is diminishing. It’s a great way to feel like you're being taken for a ride, but with fewer miles to show for it.
Rating: 1/5 – If you enjoy the thrill of watching your miles disappear, this is the program for you.

"PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"
I wish I had checked the reviews for this company, prior to booking with them. I booked a 2 Bed Suite, with breakfast included, for my family of 3. Didn’t discover till check-in that 1 of the beds is a fold-out (which is not mentioned ANYWHERE in the room ad) and only 2 of us got breakfast included. They refused to acknowledge this was an advertising breach, and are the WORST when it comes to customer service. We were forced to pay for a bigger room, for two nights, plus breakfast for our son. We ran out of money, and Rocket Travel said “a sofa bed is good as 2 beds”. They refuse to acknowledge it’s illegal to advertise 2 beds, and not mention anywhere that one is fold-out.

"Son mentirosos ladrones "
No es como menciona. En la página dice que al solicitar la cancelación si la misma no puede realizarse, van a informar las alternativas. En mi caso me quitaron las millas dado que no podía cancelar pero si me cancelaron las reserva. Son piratas y se esconden bajo políticas que son iguales de piratas que ustedes una porquería de programa. Por eso todas las calificaciones bajas que tienen.
