Good price for comprehensive pet care. Excellent helpful staff and easy to use website. I have not made a claim yet, fingers crossed I won't need to, so I can't comment further.

My dog is 3 years old and has never been to the vet for being ill. She unfortunately had to be rushed in for emergency surgery due to a suspected inhalation of a grass seed. The vet said there was naval inflammation on surgical exploration but could not give a diagnosis, could possibly be rhinitis, but not proven and nothing conclusive. Insure your paws refused to settle the claim stating that she had rhinitis and that it was a pre existing condition. She was admitted for a possible foreign object, was never given a diagnosis, had never been ill prior to this and had no medical history of the condition at all. Yet they still said it was pre existing and refused to settle the claim. Avoid at all costs as they will make up a medical history for your pet that doesn't exist just to avoid paying.

Update email from my Vets:
I have emailed your insurance company to confirm that we did NOT make a definitive diagnosis of Rhinitis and that it was only a possible cause of Isla's problem.
I still cannot understand why they referred to it as a pre-existing condition - they obviously know more than we do!

Think the Vets email says it all really.......

Insure Your Paws have illegally invented a pre existing condition for my dog that doesn't exist to avoid paying the claim.
