"Items delivered in awful packing"

Items delivered in awful packing, helium was delivered in a box broken to pieces, just hoping the helium works ok. First time having brought from this company, will not be purchasing again, worried about the quality of their products!

"Poor delivery and customer service"

I first placed an order from Partyrama on 26th August. The order contained essential items for my engagement party on the 17th September. At first, I was really pleased that I found this company and website, which was really user-friendly and had competitive prices.

On the 8th September, I called the customer service telephone number to chase up on the order, which I had still not received. They informed me there was an issue with the delivery, but a new one was being processed and I would receive it within a couple of days. I also followed up with an email, which never received a response. I never got confirmation of the new delivery, and the order never arrived.

On 12th September, I emailed again. I got a response the next day to say that the order was being dispatched and was due to be delivered the next day (14th Sep).

Needless to say, the parcel never arrived. I used the Yodel tracking service and saw that it was not on track to be delivered by the 14th. I had to go out and buy all the items I needed again a couple of days before the party, at my expense. This has also added a lot of unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

I am hoping to receive a full refund for the terrible experience I have had with Partyrama's delivery and customer service, but either way I do not recommend - when you are planning an event you need a reliable delivery and service, which Partyrama does not offer.

I wish I had read the other reviews about their poor delivery record before ordering from them.

"Amazing company with Brilliant Customer Service"

An amazing company with brilliant customer service. Not only was the turn around - order to delivery - excellent but when the outsourced balloons were short in expected number, the company immediately intervened and ensured we had the missing special balloons delivered in time for the 100th party. Cannot rate them highly enough.

"21st birthday helium ballon in a box."

We ordered a standard 21st birthday 'helium balloon in a box.' The illustration shows a polka dor box but advises that this may change. It arrived in a normal box bearing the Partyrama name and shipping labels. In other words, a box that was unsuitable as a surprise box and could only be used when wrapped in gift wrapping. Customer service denied that there was anything wrong with this and that they couldn't put a box in a box. (They could have put a flat box inside but chose not to do so). This is similar to buying a piece of jewellery and finding it supplied in a plain cardboard shipping box. We may as well have bought the ballon in a card shop and obtained a box from a local store. In addition, there was no personalised gift card included as indicated.

"Superb customer service"

Superb customer service. Went online on Monday to put order in, needed it Thursday (it was over £40) so no extra to pay. When I went to check out it said by following Monday, emailed Katie who was superb, prompt replies and always cheerful and it was delivered Thursday before lunch. Will definitely use again and recommend. Thank you so much Katie.

"Good product range, but issues with picking and deliveries"

I ordered 10 different items for my daughters 4th birthday party. I received 1 item in a jiffy envelope, and assumed the rest would follow, after a few days I checked and realised the website showed all 10 items were delivered, but they had not. I spoke to customer service who said they would look into it and get back to me by the end of the day. They didn’t call back so I called again at 4:30pm. The agent confirmed that they would resend the entire order for free. I received it within 24 hours, however there was still 1 item missing. I had to ask for a refund and buy the missing item elsewhere.

"Really rude and unhelpful customer…"

Really rude and unhelpful customer services agents. Ordered helium for my daughters birthday party with next day delivery. The item didn't get delivered (ruined the party).

"Best party service"

Such an easy site and very simple to use . Left it a little late for my daughters birthday balloons and often the hindrance of purchasing helium balloons and weights puts me off . Ordered last minute and available delivery for the next day . Balloons came packaged carefully already presented and you only had to open the box that was the most part of the hard work ! Plenty of choice and not overpriced as some retailers are . Will be a regular customer from now on.
