"Creates a large bulge"

It does support the bag and keep it stable, but the pouch for the bag is far too small. It bunches the bag up and creates a large bulge that gets even worse if you try to put a muffler in as well. If support during activities is all you're looking for, it should be just fine. But it definitely makes it far more noticeable under your shirt. I've ordered a vertical pouch belt that should be better for everyday wear, then the pro will only be for activities

pros: Keeps bag from dangling out of your shirt

cons: you cannot wear anything you please and still keep your bag hidden as advertised. If you tuck your shirt in or wearing form fitting clothes a bulge is clearly noticeable on your abdomen
On hot days you will sweat a lot wear your belt wraps around, which will dissolve the glue holding your bag and cause leaks

If the price is too steep for you just use a wide piece of cloth to tie around your waist. The same thing will be accomplished.

I was very concerned about going swimming with my grandchildren .but after putting on my belt I had a great time with them in the pool in Florida. Best thing my wife ordered me. Paul Helminiak

"Bag compartment not big enough on the Stealth Belt Pro."

I ordered the Stealth Belt Pro maybe 4-5 months ago over the telephone. I gave the woman all the correct measurements etc. I ordered it to wear with a Hollister two piece pouch 21/4 flange. I explained that my stoma was about 4" above the belly button to the right. It was to be worn in the horizontal position. When I received the belt I watched the video on how to put it on, And wear it etc. When I put the pouch into the bag I noticed there was a bump, lump, bulge, Or whatever you want to call it. I thought to myself Oh well lets see what happens. Anyway as the bag fills the bulge gets larger. I would have to wear a baggy t shirt to hide the bulge. One reason I bought the belt was so I can wear a dress shirt. Cant do it with this, Because of the big bulge. There was very little urine in the bag, And already there was a big lump. From time to time I would wear the belt thinking I was doing something wrong. One day when I was walking into a store I felt a leak. I turned around and went home. I found that The bag come loose from the flange, And was leaking all over. I tried wearing it again around the house. everything was fine the first day, But I did not do much moving around. The next day I decided to wear it while I was walking my dog. By the time I got home from a two block walk I felt another leak. This time my pouch was leaking from the bottom of the flange. I decided to call Stealth Belt. I explained to the woman what was happening and asked her if she received any other complaints. She said they have not received any complaints. Anyway Some time passed and I figured I would try the Stealth belt again. I wore the belt around the house, and then to pick up my grandson from school. I couldnt believe it. The pouch again pulled off of the flange. I got home and called stealth belt and told the woman what was happening. She told me that all the bag compartments were made from the same pattern. HUMMM! I was going to send her a picture of the bulge etc, because I wanted to order a different kind of belt. After thinking about it I decided to do some research. I found that they did have complaints about the compartment. Anyway I took the belt with me when I went to my Drs appointment. I had the stoma nurse look at it when I put it on etc. Right away she saw that the compartment that the pouch goes into was to small, And it just bunches up the pouch. Then when I would move and turn the pouch would come loose. So here I am stuck with a belt that I cant use. It cost somewhere around $100.00 That is quite a bit of money to trow away. After some research on the web I found a company the has a very good belt and wrap. I am very happy with my new belt. The pouch compartment is at least twice the size of the Stealth belt. This is only the experience I had with Stealth belt. You may have a better experience than I had. For now I will stick with the other company.

I think it would be nice. If it would of fit right. Its too big and i have to wear it upside-down so my pouch fits correctly..

I really like the fit, especially with my clothes on. It is more discreet than any of the other belt products. I have a great sense of security when I am
wearing the belt. It makes me feel less exposed should anyone happen to see more than they should. The only thing that I have a problem with is emptying the bag, it is a little awkward, but worth it.

We love your product but we are from Canada and by the time we got it the price was very high 264$... having a colostomy is a big expense and very hard on your self esteem.Your product helps people live a more normal and active life .we would like to buy a second one so when you wash one you can wear the other one,but can not afford it at that price. Is there a Canadian company that sells them for the 99 $ which is not a bad price.My husband works at the school and was very worried about going back to work ,with the stealth belt he has no problem because no one can see his bag.It has made a big difference in his social life also......Thank you for your product

"Overall, satisfied (I guess) !"

The last two "Band Belts" I received (a few weeks ago) are great. They fit fine and hold my pouch perfectly. However, the "Band Belt" I received a few months ago was a different story. This one must have slipped through
Quality Control without notice. The zipper was not sewn properly as the last 3/4 of an inch was just hanging loose and kept unraveling. Also, the shape or material was definitely different than the latest ones I purchased and would not hold my pouch correctly. Needless to say, that one is no longer in use.

only thing we encountered was we should have ordered smaller around - as it did stretch a little - or hubby is wearing differently than area measured - luckily I am able to sew and was able to make adjustment - I feel this was strictly our issue not the companies -BUT would advise others to think about where they would actually be wearing this item.

Well made, well designed. Stealthbelt makes a big difference in coping with the daily issues of urostomy. Thanks to Richard, thousands of us who have this condition find life a little easier. My only quibble is the time it takes to receive the product.
