"Stealth Belt"

Of all of the products I use to live with an ostomy, Stealth Belt is the one most responsible for allowing to me to live the same life I had before the ostomy. I'm able to wear the same style of cloths, still manage chores on a farm/ranch, motorcycle touring and primitive camping (1750's style!). And appliances easily last 7 to 10 days because they're supported at all times, never sagging or getting tangled at my belt line.

We all know the number of products we're willing to try in an effort to regain some sense of normalcy. Most of them can be categorized as either good or bad depending upon personal preference or individual physique. Finding the combination that works for each individual is a process of discovery. For that reason I'm hesitant to promote products merely because they work well for me. One size does not fit all here!

Stealth Belt is the exception to the rule. It remains the only product that I've recommended to other ostomy patients. In fact, I've recommended it to every ostomy patient I've encountered as well as my surgeon, who was so impressed that he now includes it as part of his pre-surgery information package.

Stealth Belt lives up to its name, my ostomy is barely noticeable to either me or others. I have several so that I'm never without one, even one that my wife calls "the sexy one".

I honestly found my stealth belt useless as it took three weeks to get it and by then I had learned to live without it. I would not do it again.

I began a search for a product, to better face the world with an ostomy pouch, shortly after my operation in Nov. of 2009. I googled for a couple of days and finally arrived at the Stealth site. I had no idea how this product would help me, but I sure was willing to try. I have been wearing a Stealth Belt for over 5 years 24/7. It has given me the confidence to continue my life as I knew it before my Ostomy. I still enjoy all sports: golf,curling,hockey baseball ,skiing,swimming,dancing ......and yes sex. The feeling of safety and comfort provided by the belt is irreplaceable.
It gives me the freedom to live normally in all situations, socially , professionally and privately. I would highly recommend the Stealth Belt to any person with the type of ostomy that fits the belt. They are constructed professionally and fit great and last a very long time. Even though I have 5 belts I sometimes still wear my 1st one which has been washed hundreds of times. Keep up the great work.

"Keeping the dream alive!"

I am a tennis instructor and was very uncertain about my future when I had surgery. I don't think I would have been able to continue teaching if it was not for the Stealth Belt. The ostomy product I use would not survive the day with all the running and twisting that I do all day. The Stealth Belt keeps everything in place and safe from coming undone. I also think it prolongs the lifespan of the ostomy equipment I use. I own two belts and will be ordering more soon.

"I wear it every day and love it."

The stealth belt is my most important garment. I wear it every day. I am a dancer and so wear it to dance classes. I am very grateful to the designer and the maker - it is carefully and thoughtfully made. I want to order another one, but can't afford it yet. I guess my main criticism would be that it is expensive, but given how often I wear it, well worth it. I wear mine with a hard plastic stoma shield. I don't feel secure with just the neoprene muffler pads, but I am a very active person and have only had my stoma for 6 months, so still a little wary of bumping into things. But really, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this, It makes me feel secure and comfortable.

"This belt size was disappointing"

I use a single piece ostomy bag and it needs a farly large diameter flange opening Sealth Belt. I needed to buy the Specialized belt for a 3 1/4" flange. You pay extra for the Specialized because it is supposed to have more reinforcement to handle the larger flanges. If my belt did have extra reinforcement, it was not obvious and not substantial. I wound up getting a belt from my supplies provider EdgePark. It has firm foam pieces that are very secure against the flange. It does not look as nice as the Stealth but it works very well and I use it more often than the Stealth.
