"Convenient"

Very easy with office just outside arrivals at north terminal. Taxi was instant.
It was however £7 more than the previous taxi to the airport at 0300 am.
Return was Tuesday daytime.
Very convenient though

"Extortionate cost"

Extortionate cost - £46.50 for a 7 mile journey. There were two drop-offs, the first requiring a 30m pull-off from the A264, then a 30m return to the point we left the A264, and onto the second destination. The route was the shortest direct route apart from the 60m tiny detour. The 60m detour added £16.00 to the total cost. This is an absolute rip-off. I recommend pre-booking with Western Cars or other local taxi firm.

"Rude comments by the driver"

The drive went well. However I did not appreciate the comments of the driver when making the full payment (as agreed at the reception) without leaving an optional tip which made feel unsafe. His comments were “I need to make sure my next fare does not come from your country” and this because I had mentioned that it was not customary to leave a tip in my country. I found the driver’s attitude rude.
