Liquid Surf and Sail had the Epic Surf Ski parts I needed. The ordering and fast shipping was great. I had a question and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you.

I ordered a kayak on their website that showed as being in stock when I placed my order. When a gentleman by the name of Flex reached out to let me know that it was out of stock, he also recommended a kayak in place of the one I originally ordered. Since it was supposed to be a gift for my husband I asked him what he thought. We decided that the kayak being recommended was not really what we wanted and we requested a refund. When we expressed that to Flex, over the phone, his tone of voice indicated irritation in my opinion. He kept trying to highlight the specifications of the kayak, which we had already reviewed and decided it didn't meet the criteria of what we were looking for and it really seemed like he was trying to make a sale rather than respect our decision to keep looking. I asked if he could email me a confirmation of the refund to the email I ordered the kayak with and he said they don't normally don't do that. I insisted, for my own record keeping purposes, that he at least email me and confirm that this is what we discussed on the phone. He never sent an email for either things. I waited two days to see if the refund had been issued and it wasn't. I called the store on Wednesday and asked to speak to Flex about the refund and he wasn't available. The gentleman I spoke with was very pleasant and extremely helpful. He also issued my refund WHILE we were on the phone and I received an email confirming the refund while we were on the phone. I would not recommend this place due to the lack of accountability in updating their website to reflect inventory and for how Flex handled the situation with us and not issuing a refund in a timely manner. I initially had chose this place to buy a kayak from because the reviews were very positive but I would not recommend them moving forward because the service was very displeasing

Returned an item that I learned would not fit my equipment.

I paid $203 for the order. It cost me $57 to ship the return, then an additional $38 was deducted from my refund for the original shipping. I am out $95 with nothing to show for it.

I would not do business with this company again unless I was 100% sure I would not need a return.

I understand this was in keeping with their return policy, and was not dishonest.

In future, I will only do business with retailers that offer a more liberal return policy.
