Refusing to service - I had a boiler installed in 2014 and signed an agreement for HFB to provide an annual service. Owing to covid this dropped away and now they are being a little more than a hassle to get a service as per the agreement.

What a sham of a company ….. contacted them via their website has you they don’t have a contact number !
I asked them for an early settlement … 2 years left on my contract ….
They want…….. £175 plus Vat Admin Fee
….,,,,,,,,£175 Early Settlement fee plus VAT
….. and £175 plus vat to take the Restriction off which they registered at Land Registry !
Even DICK TURPIN wore a Mask !! 🤬

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Poor customer service you can’t talk to anyone direct I’ve lost count of have many emails I’ve sent this company and they all go unanswered.

"Absence of annual service"
Every year, for the entire span of my plan, I have had to chase to ensure my annual service is undertaken. Once again I have sent a request this year and am still awaiting a firm appointment for the service. Emails are sent and there is a very slow response rate. Very poor and would strongly advise not entering into any agreements with HFB. I am counting down the time to when my contract ends. So disappointing....

Total waste of time.
I have been sending emails, called twice (each time had to leave a void mail)
Emailed countless times to get my regular annual service and inspection .. (been almost 2 years since last one).
I had a response after my last email (Wed. 7th , they replied Thurs 8th) - I told them to read my emails , got a response ("Please advise how it is we can assist you. ") to which I said they obviously have not read my emails... now nothing since (now the 15th Feb)
Asked for settlement to get out of the contract but they just ignore me.
They have broken their contract, I will have to find out about cancelling my DD payments .

Called me 2 weeks ago on a Monday, "We have an engineer in the area today, is it convenient to visit?"
No! , I am at work!
2 weeks later (yesterday) emailed me to confirm a visit for 9th April) and FINALLY got the settlement cost I requested April LAST YEAR.
Install was 2016 8 years into 12 year
Excessive cost (Admin fee+Early fee + restriction release+ base settlement)
Considering they are in breach on contract I am not happy.
DONT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR A BOILER

Three days without hot water or heating in the middle of winter. Why can't you speak to anyone, seems they are hiding behind emails so they don't have to deal with complaints, not the best way to run a company.

Waiting since September for fixing boiler and service , what’s happened to this firm , has anyone managed legal yet , if anything change name to “real hassle boilers” . Shame was a good firm

"Has gone downhill lately."
Really don’t understand what’s gone on with this company. Was and has been very good, regular service, good communication but over the last few years we have had some terrible communication and services. This one in particular, promised a service back in September and only just got it. Since the service had two leaks, had no contact or help and when another company do finally come in they have the wrong information down and don’t want to do the work. Still have a leak, dripping all over my worktop. Will probably look to terminate contact and move to another company.

"Really struggling with communications…"
Really struggling with communications with this service! Engineer has given a poor yearly service leaving a leak in the kitchen damaging the work surface and ignoring a leak in the airing cupboard. This was on the 25th and poor responses to emails. Still not fixed and still leaking no one has called or acknowledge theirs
emails. Service is appalling!
We used to have a fantastic service but this last couple of years has become awful! May need to cancel direct debit and leave it to the lawyers to sort out! As no one can be bothered to sort out!
