The whole process was traumatic. On packing day they left without completing before 2.00 pm and left 4 boxes for my helpers to fill. We had to hide items in our cars before things were put in boxed because they packed medication and makeup before use. They left a huge mirror over the fireplace that my neighbour has delivered. The buyer is now getting litigious about items left behind at the property, which is attracting solicitors fees There was no provision made for an elderly disabled person. I suspect they were subcontractors because their vehicles weren’t Britannia logo and they didn’t wear ritannis branded.

I’ve never needed to use a removal company before and this was my first time. Brittania Movers in Maidstone, Kent were one of the closest to both locations, From my first initial contact they could not have been more helpful, putting me at ease and completing a virtual tour of my house to be able to estimate a quote.

On the moving day, they were early.
Dave, Dan and Leo are a great team and could not have been any more professional, friendly and really helpful. They took the stress out of the move. Unloading into my new home, they were careful and listened to where I wanted everything. My wardrobe items were hung in a box and moved back into the wardrobe in my new house. Same for my TV.

Once everything moved, they double checked I was happy with everything. Any time they found any sort of damage to my furniture, this was quickly pointed out, although this was damage already there from me.

Dave was also really funny and put me at ease in a stressful situation. Really nice guys.

The service was well worth every penny, they made proficient work of this for me and I am very grateful. I highly recommend the branch in Maidstone and the removal team.

From start to finish everything was exceptional. The process of exchange of contracts and completion was really difficult and I was unable to be certain on moving date. Throughout it all Caroline was understanding and patient and when I asked to move the date very late on managed to accommodate. The move itself was carried out really well and again the patience of all concerned was stretched by long delay in obtaining keys.

The whole experience of having Britannia organise our move was a very good one. From start to finish they were very professional and gave us the confidence that it would all go well. They packed everything for us and ensured that we were out of our property on time and quickly delivered to our new address. They took great care of our stuff and we suffered no losses.
