The person I spoke with was very friendly and made surd I understood everything and helped me with making some changes.

Negotiation team? What team? They made it sound so good when I was convinced to let my 2 bank accounts lapse and they would then reach out and get a settlement amount less that I owed. Sounded great.
5 months later - I have not received ANY communication from Alleviate (despite numerous calls) and neither has my bank. On either account. One went to collections (which I did NOT want) and I just made arrangements with the bank directly (which I could have done months ago).
My credit is destroyed now. What did I pay them for? I feel like I got scammed for $2K which I could have used to pay the bills myself.

No one ever said that this process would be easy. If I have questions or concerns I just call Alleviate and some how they always are able to calm me down and give me reassurance that this is the process and it’s only going to get easier from here. They truly are there to help you 100% of the way. At times it can seem scary but everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful and they know how you feel. Thank you for all that you do for me I don’t know where or what I would be doing if it wasn’t for you.

April 2020, with covid closing down business, debt consolidation seemed like a good options. There was 85500.00 that was owed. They knew they were dealing with a senior. Well 5 years later, after paying over 63000.00 the debtbis not over. Found 25000.00 still owing. It looks like the final payout will be what was owes before ut all started. Have asked many times for certain paperwork. Have received some but not all. Mor curious to see after the end date how many have everything paid in full or are they asking for more money.

I have sent multiple emails to the address you requested, reviews@alleviatefinancial, for help. Still no reply from the numerous messages. I also sent via trust pilot the information requested. We are now getting calls from the companies that were not paid off, after 5 years.

Last update-after explaining that the person with the debt has a medical condition which makes her unable to make decisions that started 3+years ago. Alleviate was made fully aware of this. At that time this person gave full permission over the phone for someone else to work with this company. Today a call came in. It was explained to the caller about her conditions. When she picked up the phone to talk Alleviate hung up on her

BEWARE - Yes, they contacted my credit cards and got a reduced settlement option after the credit cards balances grew over 25% and my credit score dropped. Mostly import beware of all their fees. My debt was 6346 originally. The settlement amount was 3692, a savings of 1067. However, their fees were 3918 (20% fee on original debt, monthly legal fees, monthly service fees, monthly check fees). I paid in total 7510 on original balance of 6346. NO SAVINGS WERE ACCOMPLISHED but Alleviate made it sound so good. Call and cancel cards on your own and negation a reduce payment plan.
