"Looks great without knobs"
Looks great without knobs. The placement of the heat elements make sense as I mainly use the right one that is closer to me. I like that it can accommodate my big skillet. However, it takes 2 to 3 seconds to turn it on, and a few more touches to set the right temperature. It does take longer to get it ready than my coiled one with turn knobs, but I can sacrifice those for the look. It is not hard to clean unless I spill my food.

"I would NOT recommend an Empava Stove "
There are several reasons why I’m returning my recent purchase of an Empava Stove. For starters due to very minimal structure of the framing with this stove it was delivered with several shipping strap dents in the front of the stove, the toe plate below the oven door does not have any support behind it and will dent in the future. The stove twisted and could not hold up to its own weight while we put the adjustable feet on it. Second the burner grates are too large for small pans, most of my pans tipped. Third I have LP gas the center burner orifice is permanent and can not be changed from natural gas to LP gas, making the center burner useless , a 5th burner was part of my decision to purchase this stove.Orifces matching Natural gas vs LP gas is essential for air and GAS pressure. Fourth the igniter clicks for a long time before lighting the burners allowing LP gas to sit low the flame up when the burner lights. I am returning my stove after less than 1 day .

"After I purchased an Empava Range hood…custmer "
After I purchased an Empava Range hood I realized after receiving it I had purchased the wrong one. In an attempt to try to reach Empava I tried to call and per their phone directory I left my number and waited for a callback that never came two days later I did the same still no callback, waited a few more days still no callback, so I called and stayed on the line was disconnected after several minutes waiting another try and the same result. Sent an Email explained my situation and the fact that their website lead me to believe I would be sent adapters for my application. A person named Hu replied to my email and simply said send it back. I replied back Can I send it COD no reply. Their website says they will deduct 20% of the sale for restock and shipping so I'm not going to pay for the shipping unless I have some sort of an idea how this will all come down. My last reply to Hu was on May 31 2024 asking him to provide a way to me to ship this back at their expense and still have had no reply. So thats were it still sits today 6/10/2024
I would rather do bussiness on the phone as apposed to hoping for a reply back, this could have been settled one way or another over the phone! Oh, I even tried to call sales to get the one I need in the interim and was hung up on! Would you trust this place?

"Company is a nightmare"
Their cooktop stopped working after 7 months. Then the real nightmare began. Empava seems to have one guy named Aaron who handles customer service calls in the US. I called and told him there was a loud pop and it no longer worked. He told me they would ship a new one the next day and would send me a tracking number. Great. A week later nothing. Called, got Aaron again. Told me the same thing. Few days go by I get an email saying a replacement has been shipped, but didn't get a tracking number. Ten days later the new cooktop arrives, only its a range hood, not a cooktop. Called customer service again. No answer this time. Left a couple of message over the next couple of days and no call back. Tried their online chat, no one responds there. Sent more emails. They ask me to open the box and take pictures to prove its not a cooktop. Did that. Then they ask me to seal the box back up and arrange with Fed Ex myself to come get the item they sent! The box is still sitting on my living room floor because Fed Ex never showed up. They finally send me a new cooktop a couple of days ago, but its a different model and size than the one I bought and leaves a slight gap in coverage at the back. I write customer service again telling them at the very least I need a trim kit to cover the gap. They write back and say they don't have a trim kit and "Could you please keep it?" This is exhausting. I give up. Never Empava again. Ever.

"Terrible customer service"
I bought an Empava 36” induction cooktop. It worked decent but started malfunctioning 1 month out of warranty. My first call I was able to speak to a support rep who had me email proof of purchase and a video of the problem. Since then I received 2 very vague emails on parts that I need and it almost seems like a scam the way I was told to order the parts. I have called countless times with no answer and left several messages with no return call. I would not recommend due to this being the worst customer service I have dealt with. I have recently started a kitchen and bath remodeling business and guess what brand I will not be recommending.

Since writing this review I was contacted by Empava customer service and they sent the parts I needed free of charge.

Easy ordering. Prompt shipment with oven arrival as expected in new condition with no shipping issues. Easy to install by my Handeyman and cooks very well.

"Moved in with junk empava appliances"
Moved into a rental. Empava oven and stove. Total junk. Stove had a broken door seal. Unable to find a replacement anywhere other than “one” from eBay for 80 dollars. Contacted Empala multiple times with no avail. Send us twenty dollars through PayPal they said. I asked for a part number and would be happy to buy the part. Never happened. Questionable. Now the overly complicated stove won’t turn on. Total junk. At least have parts available and decent customer service. There are a lot of brands I would prefer not to purchase but they are looking great compared to empava. Junk,junk,junk!!!
