"Ignoring Consumer Rights Act, refusing to refund product that broke on first use and is dangerous!"
We recently bought a kids space umbrella for our 5 year old. Ordered it at the end of September for our son's birthday at the end of October. He used it for the first time a few days afterwards and the handle sheared (we witnessed it, umbrella was not being used inappropriately etc), leaving a dangerous piece of metal exposed. I contacted Rex London straight away to request a refund as this is clearly faulty and was told as the order is over 30 days old they will not offer me one. Having double checked my research I'm still under the impression that the Consumer Rights Act (2015) protects against faulty goods and/or goods that are not fit for purpose for six months after purchase and I am entitled to a full refund. This umbrella broke on the first use and was potentially dangerous due to the exposed metal points. I'm really disappointed and angry that we're not being offered the refund that we are legally entitled to. I've been offered a £10 voucher as a "good will gesture"... when I am literally legally entitled to a refund in full which they are denying me. Before this I had planned to shop with Rex London for Christmas gifts as I love their stuff, but will no longer shop with them or recommend them. I've emailed again but will be reporting to Trading Standards if my refund is not honoured.

Very bad service I received a broken dog bowl email twice told them on Facebook no reply may only be a few pounds but that not the point will not shop again with them.

"Products look good but don't last"
I bought the World backpack as a gift in May and after less than 3 months use, the zip won't work making the bag entirely useless. I contacted Customer Services but apparently any faults need to be reported within 30 days of purchase. They only offered me a discount code to buy again but then essentially I would be paying again for an item which has already failed once.
I feel disappointed that they only guarantee their products for 30 days - is this meant to inspire confidence in their products?! They weren't helpful at all I will not be buying from them again.
In summary - the products look good but don't last!

A large order squeezed into a small box, no doubt to save money on postage, resulted in items being broken in transit. Many emails later I am still waiting for a refund. And the overall quality of things they sell is very poor.

Bought five wee items, all in the sale, as stocking filler type Christmas gifts. Parcel arrived quickly given it was so near to Christmas, items were very well packed. All five items of good quality, amazing value. Would definitely recommend.

Sac à dos pour enfants de très mauvaise qualité. Ma fille le prend à l'école que depuis septembre et il est déjà en très mauvais état. Les doublures à l'intérieur sont presque toutes parties donc il est fragilisé et notamment à côté de la fermeture éclair. Bilan: il va falloir racheter un sac...
