Great resource. The team are responsive and extremely helpful. I find this much more successful than other diets as the concept is so simple...if you burn more calories than you consume then you will lose weight. Its brilliantly flexible as well and works for any lifestyle weather you are stationary or very active. I really recommend this to anyone.

"Straightforward Food and Exercise Diary"
I have used this website in the past and like the honest food recording - enter what you have eaten and calories left are counted down until the end of the day, while a simple nutrition pie-chart shows you if you are on track that day or over any time period with key nutrients. You can easily add your own food favourites and recipes to the database and you can participate in various weight loss and exercise challenges and topic based forums if you wish. It also links to various fitness trackers. If I had a very minor criticism it would be that I would like to record more nutrients - sugars, sodium and omega 3 are important to me.

I find WLR a really useful tool for tracking my calories, food intake and exercise, even though I also have a Fitbit. It’s easy to find and log food and to record the calories from my own recipes and I particularly enjoy the nutritional breakdown of what I have eaten, it motivates me to eat more fruit and veg and fibre!

So simple and easy to follow but without the online programme it wouldn't have worked for me. Great results, no cravings and nothing is off limits as long as you stick within your range. A good incentive to exercise more too.

I always steered clear of counting calories as I always felt it was such a hard slog to do so but WLR is brilliant! It takes all the hard work out of it and once you get to grips with all the different information and how it all works it is fab.

I always come back to this site. The main advantage to all similar online resources is that there are thousands of foods listed in the database, so you hardly ever have to add your own. You can make up a 'plan' of meals you have regularly, to save time, and even add your own recipes. The help team are fantastic, and there is a lot of support available via the home page, support team, and other users. Challenges are available to help motivation, which make it fun. It is also one of the most cost effective sites out there. Highly recommended for those who are prepared to log their foods.

"It is well designed and easy to use"
It is well designed and easy to use. For me the only slight difficulty is that I use all my own recipes and rarely by ready made food. This means in order to get a reasonably accurate daily reading I need to load all the ingredients and weights for each meal.

I have really enjoyed logging my calories. I did it to loose weight and continue with it to maintain my weight. Being able to know how I’m doing with my macro nutrients is key for keeping me healthy. I intend to continue to use Weight Loss Resources for a very long time as I like the fact that I know exactly what I’m eating. I would recommend anyone to try them as it’s easy to use regardless of wether it’s to loose weight or to keep your diet healthy.
