I placed an order with AlpineTrek on December 14, 2024. I have not received my order because the courier, Evri, has lost it. I'm extremely disappointed that it didn't arrive in time for Christmas as I ordered in plenty of time.
Evri have failed to deliver my parcel and have now admitted that they have lost my parcel and told me to contact Alpine Trek. I've been sending emails to AlpineTrek since 31st December and have received no response. I'm very worried that I won't get my refund. I'm extremely disappointed that the customer service for AlpineTrek is so poor. Avoid this company!

"Returns service is substandard"
Returns service is substandard. No acknowledgement of return being received even though postal tracking says it has and then sent back to Germany where they state it will take 21 days to process. It’s been almost 6 weeks now and still no acknowledgement if I will even receive the return. When questioned they state issues with Brexit but I haven’t had any issues like this with other EU companies. Quick deliver, awful returns

My recent communication with Alpine Trek was 10/10 for service. I have a pair of GTX Hoka shoes that have hardly been used but have leaked. I tried to contact Hoka first who wanted me to jump through so many hoops.
After getting fed up dealing with Hoka direct, I contacted Alpine Trek, who took a while to reply initially (but due to Christmas period is expected). But they resolved it for me straight away.
Initially I was a bit concerned buying gear from abroad, but I would 100% use them in the future. Much better service than I have had from a lot of UK companies over the last few years!

"Delivery time was shocking"
Delivery time was shocking, I appreciate it was coming from Germany but things arrived quicker from Australia. Communication was also slow with replying to emails. Yes they sell different products to the UK but not worth the stress of is or is it not coming/arriving or plan in the extra delivery time.

A very easy website to navigate, a great range of products and I was kept informed as to the progress of my order and when to expect delivery. I would highly recommend.

I bought a jacket in two sizes, kept one and returned the other. It was sent back 29 days ago and I have heard nothing. I tried to get confirmation that it has at least arrived in Germany on three occasions but I have just had two copy and paste standard emails about returns - neither of them answering my questions. I’m now concerned I’m going to have to go through my bank to get the money back as others have done.
Appalling service and no excuse for being overseas - I’ve purchased other items from companies overseas with absolutely no issues whatsoever and far quicker returns processing.
