"Nightmare Refund Process - Beware! "

6 weeks after returning my items I am still waiting for a refund. The comms are terrible and the staff have no clue. Each message is a standard email so there appears to be little human interaction. Please beware, if your item isn’t right for you, the returns process will be a nightmare. I am owed over £300 and having to pursue the money from my credit card company. The cheap prices are tempting but I would never use Alpine Trek in future.

"Used and damaged Nemo Quassar"

Recently ordered a Nemo Quassar insulated sleeping mat from Alpine Trek. It came without the box and had a hole in, amazed neither of these were picked up before shipping, it was described as new and no where stated it was used or damaged. This was due to be a Christmas present, but clearly could not give it in this state. I was offered £20 off or a refund, which is the only reason why I am giving 2 stars.

Got ghosted by the company when my parcel was lost in transit since 4 DEC 2024 and still I haven’t got my parcel nor a refund worth of near £200. Despite EVRI did confirm it on writing that it had been lost. Alpinetrek ghosted me for 2 weeks now that they did not reply to my email. May do a chargeback from the bank.

Rang support as mixed up billing/delivery address. Operator was rude and instead cancelled the order after the call without informing me. This is 5 weeks on from the order date and I have not been refunded or received the parcel. First I emailed support. My ticket was closed twice without being contacted by a rep! The third time round, I got a response which told me that sometimes parcels are unable to be delivered by EVRI and that I would receive a refund automatically. Just rang support today and was informed that this was not the case and the delivery was cancelled by Alpinetrek! The rep was friendly this time however she was still unable to resolve my issue and insisted I just re-order the items (out of stock). She also couldn't confirm when I would receive a refund. Really disappointing experience as I have ordered from AlpineTrek many times without a hitch!
