The furniture shipped quickly. It was great quality for the price. I had no problem putting the living room and dinning room together myself.

"RED sofa set is HOT"

We ordered this set to complete a family game room that also has a pool table and bar in it. I love how this set completes the whole room with its bold red color. The contemporary design of the furniture is unique and very eye catching. We have had mixed feed back on the comfort of the sofa and chair, some people say they are extremely comfortable and others feel they are a bit to firm. But all and all I love the set. The coffee table with stools if ideal for both kids and adults. the stools can also be used as end tables for the sofa and chair.
the only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is that Modern Line claims that they have everything on their site in stock at all times... this is the second item that I have ordered from them that they did not have in stock and had to "special order" They claim it was because of the color but they show it in red on their site... so I would think it would be in stock then... we had to wait 8 weeks for it to be delivered but I would say it was well worth the wait. The customer service is excellent and the furniture was delivered packaged extremely well... Well worth the money!

"Very Satisfied...."

At first, I was very reluctant to purchase any furniture on-line because I was skeptical about the quality of the furniture. However, I am completely satisfied with the way the staff at Modern Day Furniture treated me throughout the process; I was very satisfied with they delivery people and the way they conducted themselves; I have been very satisfied with the quality of the material and the sturdiness of their product and look forward to dealing with them as soon as I get my up coming income tax return!

"Exactly what we were looking for...."

After looking at many modern bar stools all over the net and in person that looked flimsy at best, I found Modern Line online and liked the fact that they publish weight ratings on their commercial grade stools.

Found a design that we liked and ordered three bar stools. They arrived within a reasonable length of time and were just what we were looking for.

The only complaint I would mention (and the reason I took off a star) is that I felt the shipping (or shipping/handling) was high. We paid an additional $150 to ship a total of three bar stools via UPS ground in two boxes from NJ to south FL. The stools were not overly large or heavy, so it seemed expensive.

I would definitely take the shipping into consideration when making a purchase. It might be more than you bargained for.

"Very responsible company."

Very happy with the merchandise and how it arrived safely with no wear or tear. The only thing is that there has to be more communication between the customer and vendor on updates of when merchandise is in stock or not. It was a few weeks before my merchandise was in stock again and I never received an update unless I called or emailed.

"Pretty satisfied"

Was told it would ship immediately, then found out it was backordered. But, arrived, looked nicer than I thought it would, and is a great value for the price. The edges of the glass get razor sharp though in some spots, and we had several people who have cut themselves slightly on the tops. But, overall, it is a great setup...

"Excellent Quality"

however, the first purchase of a living room set was not confirmed for a while and I had to make numerous calls. Finally I was given a delivery date. My second purchase of a bedroom set took 12 weeks to deliver but at least I was advised of it and once it was ready for shipment there was no glitch. Unfortunately, the heavy purchases were only delivered curbside and we had to drag them in for quite a bit - it was outside of their curbside delivery options and in the rain that was no fun. Since the shipping is quite excessive, $300 twice, there should have been better options available.l

"Beautiful Furniture at a fair price"

I am raving about my experience and I even had an issue. The lead time to receive my furniture more than doubled and the company compensated (minimally) me for the issue, but they were courteous and apologetic for the inconvenience.

"Great furniture, takes forever to get."

Still waiting after 2 and a half weeks for my furniture that I ordered that was 1. in stock, in the warehouse, and 2. promised to be delivered within a week over the phone when I placed the order.
The people are nice enough, when they call back, after several calls. After waiting and trying to get someone to call back, I was told that the furniture was in the warehouse and waiting for UPS to pick up. I asked when was UPS given the order and they said the date that I called back the third time. It took 3 calls and 2 1/2 weeks to get them to call UPS to deliver my stuff!
