A good firm to deal with , a good price for my car only one problem a lot of faffing taking lots of photos of my car and loads of other photos as well , when Steve the driver arrived he had been told to take all the same photos as I took plus a lot more , all good , done

I was very sceptical about using BigWantsYourCar, I had a fairly high value vehicle but unfortunately could not part exchange against my new car so needed to sell it separately. I filled out the online form and had a guideline valuation instantly - to be honest I wasn’t overly impressed as I had been offered more on webuyanycar (I do appreciate these knock you down though!). However, Hollie got in contact with me and asked some further questions and gave me an exact figure which was more like my expectations. Hollie was fantastic and her response time was rapid - I sent some photos off of my vehicle and within minutes the valuation had increased, much to my delight! Hollie kept me informed and answered any queries I had which put my mind at ease - even when I noticed a scuffed alloy after being given the valuation, I was told not to worry and it wouldn’t change the price! For a large commercial company I wasn’t expecting this level of personal feel. We booked the collection for a day which suited me; the driver called 30-45 mins before arriving as promised and was again so lovely and a pleasure to deal with. The vehicle was checked over thoroughly and all confirmed back to Big’s office and within 15 minutes I had the agreed figure in my bank account. No quibbles, no knocking down the price and a very smooth transaction/ service! The whole experience was great from start to finish and I would not hesitate to use BigWantsYourCar again, I’ve already recommended them to multiple people and shared my great experience!!

Disappointed- my father died and I’m trying to sell his car on the website they entice you with great prices. Lovely sales guy gives you a call. Then they tell me can’t take the car as it’s in your name and needs to be in your name for 3 months. by which time the price will have gone down. It has to be in my name as otherwise the insurance company wouldn’t insure it as the owner is dead.

The response was - sorry that’s just the policy from the people higher up. Message for Peter waddle people are humans and policies should reflect that or allow for exceptions. The car has only had 1 owner and full service history and sales from BMW. Makes no sense that you can’t buy it.

Would highly recommend selling your car through this company. I had a very good experience. The difference between this company and other online based companies is the personal approach. I was called by Daisy-Summer following entering my details on their website. I described any imperfections and following this she gave me a very competitive guaranteed price. I then backed these up with photos and some pictures of documents. Daisy-Summer was very helpful and answered my questions.
At a time that was convenient to me Steve came and collected my vehicle. He was on time, polite and explained everything he was doing. There was a very thorough assessment of my car and I thought (like many companies) they would try and haggle down the price. This was not the case. They identified some minor areas of damage but because I had already declared these they honoured the original price. Payment was received 2 minutes after completing the sale on my door step.
A great experience from a big company that has retained the need to put the customer first. This is rare nowadays!

Sold my Toyota Aygo to big want your car on Wednesday 21st February! Tilly and the young man at Bluebell hill were great to deal with and gave me more than any other dealer offered for the car! I got £700 more than mini offered me against a new JCW convertible and £900 more than Toyota Canterbury offered to buy the car in. It was all pretty simple and pain free and there was no trying to knock you down like you get with We buy any car! 5 stars!

Things like this are definitely out my comfort zone but I would 100% use BIG again in the future!
