"Another wonderful itinerary from WF"

Another wonderful itinerary from WF, with a superlative local guide, Mitzi. Especially loved the first week travelling in the Highlands through Mayan communities witnessing their traditional way of life and local customs. Some amazing archaeological sites in the second week. Where to for my 9th WF trip?!

"Cambodia - Private tour - January 2025"

This was our first time undertaking a tailor made private tour of Cambodia. Our WF UK consultant, was very helpful in refining our itinerary, and quick in responding to our pre departure queries. It greatly helps and shows that the Consultants have themselves travelled extensively in the destinations they "sell". Everything in Cambodia was excellently organised, (probably our best holiday ever) with knowledgable local guides, great accommodation and seamless travel arrangements. Not only did we cover the requested sites/attractions, but gained much insight into the daily life, history and spirituality of Cambodia. We will definitely be looking to book further "long haul" tours with Wild Frontiers in the years to come

"Nicaragua with WF."

My friend and I were planning a trip to Nicaragua, and initially spoke to Richard Leonardi, WF's Latin America Travel Consultant. He picked up our brief perfectly, and gave us suggestions for places to visit and stay - his knowledge is fantastic, even suggestions for my reading list. His insight was followed up with great office support, and not one hitch - planning went very smoothly. In country, great guides, lovely places to stay and visit, excellent food (+rum & coffee!) and a special shout out to Nicaraguans themselves - always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

"Great trip to Saudi"

My first trip with WildFrontiers brought me to Saudi Arabia, a great destination for anybody interested in a unique experience. The trip was perfectly organized, the local guide was fantastic, and hotels/transportation were excellent throughout. Every day was packed with a wide range of different sights and experiences, stops for coffee and dates, and interesting tours through museums or historical sights. Really a great trip!

"Saudi was a true adventure with Wild Frontiers "

A holiday became an adventure: On my second trip with Wild Frontiers, I picked Saudi, and with some friends it became so much more than we expected. Incredible people, cultures, places and experiences every day had us excited to see what the next day would bring. From camel markets to mosques and amazing desert experiences this was a more than memorable trip.

"Bhutan Land of the Thunder Dragon"

Bhutan Land of the Thunder Dragon

Excellent trip, a beautiful country, very clean air, snowy peaks, delicious food and a knowledgeable tour leader. A good variety of sites and some hikes/walks that challenged us. The climb to Tiger's Nest on NY day was the cherry on the cake. Dec was cold and even colder indoors as buildings are not heated, make sure to take your warmest clothing and thermals for this time of the year.

"It was 16 years since my first trip…"

It was 16 years since my first trip with WF to Bhutan - the best holiday I have ever had. At last another WF trip to the Lost City of Arabia Jordan trip. A huge success. Raja, our guide, seamlessly had everything organised and always with a sense of calm. An excellent balance between seeing the sights, walk/hiking, travelling as well as great food (healthy) and company. Spending New Year in the Wadi Rum in a sustainable camp was memorable.. including how the Bedouin live by the stars and given hot water bottles at night.
Two days in Petra gave us the opportunity to absorb the history and life there.
Jordanians were so welcoming and although we benefited from not so many tourists as usual I would not hesitate on encouraging you to go.

"This was our first trip with WF in Uganda"

This was our first trip with WF in Uganda. From Entebbe to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, to experience the mountain gorillas, WF delivered with an exceptional itinerary with knowledgeable and friendly staff in every capacity. As they got to know us, our local guides suggested additional “experiences” where we could interact with the communities and more readily experience the cultures of our various destinations. For example, my son brought soccer balls to leave with the kids in Bwindi - our guide found the local coach who was running practice! So touching to see their reactions. We visited a women’s cooperative where this same son had custom Ugandan clothes made (less than 24 hrs!) and he wore them in every transit of our trip just to talk about these experiences. WF staff were put to the test when my luggage didn’t arrive at the start of our trip. While this is not the memory of our trip in the least, having a local partner who accompanied me to buy toiletries and clothes then figured out the logistics to pick up my bag and ship it to Bwindi —In these times of stress, I literally embraced my Ugandan “sister” for taking such good care of us - we didn’t have to worry about a thing. There could have been an awful breakdown in communications or logistics, and they over-delivered, in my view. I cannot say enough about our experience with WF - totally customized our every-day, pairing us with happy and knowledgeable guides in spectacular settings. I look forward to designing another trip with them and seeing my Ugandan family again :)

"Very special holidays"

This was our second WF trip. They were both fantastic and made special because we had experienced, friendly guides who knew and loved the countries we visited and who stayed with us throughout and became our friends. The local guides and drivers were also excellent. In both cases (Uzbekistan and Cambodia), although we went to famous sites, the guides' local knowledge kept us away from hordes of other tourists and in some places we were often the only people visiting. WF holidays are adventure holidays; the days are filled with unique, exciting, varied and challenging experiences. The hotels were very good and interesting in themselves. It was all very well planned and organised.

"Slow Boat to Aswan"

Slow Boat to Aswan. My 5th tour with Wild Frontiers and definitely up to standard. We had a very small group and a superb guide. Starting in Luxor with visits to the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens, the four nights on the dahabiya on the Nile were just the best, so relaxing , excellent staff, stopping off here and there to visit families, markets and temples, it was perfect. I would suggest an add-on day in Cairo and in Aswan. There is so much to see.
