"Delayed order and missing information "

Update: the car charger has now arrived and Simpson & Partners have attempted to speak with me regarding the matter as well. The charger is yet to be installed due to the availability of my fitter (Due to the delay in receiving the charger!). However, I have no reason to believe it won't be up to standard.

I ordered a car charger in August and still haven't received it. I've had several emails informing me of delays (although, i've not had any response to my last two emails) all stating some form of supply issue as the justification. I note from other poor reviews on this site, that the company has actually had some far more concerning internal issues! Matters of such consequence should not be dealt with via review websites and I'm very disappointed that I've not been fully informed of the challenges the company is dealing with. Perhaps this review will trigger a meaningful reply and more appropriately a formal response to my email!

"I've had a S&P charger for over a year…"

I've had a S&P charger for over a year now, and very happy I chose this company/charger. I have had a few issues with the charger in that time, but they've been great getting things sorted really quickly and in a decent and helpful way. The support is wonderful whenever I've had any questions, and they go above and beyond.

The charger itself is rock solid, still looks as good as the day it arrived, and works great with the app.

Highly recommend this company if you need a charger.

"Charger looks good but problems after 2 months "

Charger was delivered and looks good but trying to get an intermittent fault fixed on it has proved very frustrating. Email is the only contact point and after a long exchange still have not got a solution and it feels like it is being dragged out. Meant to have a 3 year warranty but would question the value of that

"Stylish charger with excellent service"

I recently purchased what is easily the best-looking car charger I've come across, and I’m incredibly impressed with both the product and the personalised service. After a few months of use, I did experience an issue, but the customer service was top-notch. I had a chat with Dave, who was extremely helpful and came out exactly when scheduled. I had my replacement installed today, September 27th, 2024, and once the fault was diagnosed, they promptly replaced the charger without any hassle.

The charger itself is of excellent quality, with a sleek, smart design that complements my car perfectly. I’m really happy with how it functions overall, and the accompanying app works seamlessly with my Tesla, offering all the features I need. Highly recommend both the charger and the service team!

"Amazing design! "

This is definitely the best looking product on the market today. It is clear someone has thought a lot about the design and technology. My shiny new box just arrived today, after a bit of a delay but exceptional service by David and Mandy once I connected with them. Can’t wait for it to be installed. Thanks S&P!

"Poor Service..."

They advertised incorrect delivery date of 10 days, reality was going to be 4 weeks minimum. The owner states on his website that if you have a problem email him and he will get back to you. Three emails latter no response. Very poor service, got a refund and bought an Anderson A3 instead.

""Buyers Beware""

I ordered a home charger from these people several weeks ago and it hasn't been delivered. I now find out they have gone into administration and I don't know if I will get my charger or my money back.. I gather the administrator is: Michael Roome at PKF Smith Cooper, 2 Lace Market Square, Nottingham, NG1 1PB Direct Line 0115 945 4300. There is no warning on the Simpson and Partners website that the company is in administration. Surely they should warn customers that they may not get their product? Not a good situation!
