"Communication & oversight of order fulfillment needs improvement"
I want to like this company, they have been responsive to inquiries, but communication initiated By THEM is lacking.
We ordered something that was supposed to ship overnight. Next day we got a call to confirm that this was the right item, so far so good...I was glad they called. I reminded the gentleman that we needed that item ASAP and it was supposed to be shipped overnight. He said he would do what he could to get it out to us as soon as possible. I would think it was made pretty clear that this was a rush order.
Not only did they not contact us to advise that the item was back ordered, but when it came time to ship the item, it went out ground Instead of overnight. I was not a happy camper, and called them as soon as I got notification that it had shipped and was scheduled to arrive this coming Monday, July 20...it's July 15th.. How in the heck is that overnight shipping?
At least they admitted it was their error, but They made it seem like a big deal that they were going to refund the overnight shipping charge.. That should have been a no-brainer. Personally I think them knocking the price down a bit as a gesture of good will would have shown good customer service.

The on-line ordering service was easy but I never received a follow-up email with a confirmation that my order or payment was received.
Finally went on-line to website to check in my account I set up with company to see if I could retrieve any information, all my account said was I ordered it and nothing else. There was an on-line chat service I decided to try and ask questions about a follow-up confirmation email and if it had been shipped and the person on the chat line, I felt like, acted more like I was a pain and not very good customer service. His comment was," I will email shipping tomorrow," and I told him why email when you should call them and just to give me their number and I will do it since he acted like he really didn't care about my concerns. He sent me their number then clicked on "end conversation" in other words hung up on me. Not very happy about that.....

Unaware of inventory so it was a disappointing experience. Customer service was fine, but no one seems to really know what is available until after you commit to an order.

"First impressions are important..."
Ordered a $500 Fluid shower mixer on Saturday 6/26/15. Contacted Decor island on 6/30/15 because I hadn't received an email about it shipping. Online chatted with a customer service rep and she said it was shipping that day and it takes 36 to 72 hours to get into the system. Huh????? It's now 7/4/15 and I still haven't received an email if it has shipped and I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel....high end. Good deal but probably won't use again. In a world where I can order something and have it at my door in two days this is unacceptable.

Found the spare part I was looking for at the best price online (did comparison shopping on multiple sites). Delivered within 5 business days. Credit card was charged upon shipment (not immediately with order). No problems, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
