"Beware of Decor Island"

Let the buyer beware...
Be sure to carefully inspect any fixtures that you have ordered from Decor Island. I unfortunately did not, and now I have a kitchen faucet that I am unhappy with. I was told that the item I was purchasing was all metal and it turns out much of it is made of plastic.

"Bait and Switch, Dishonest Company."

I purchased a round vessel sink totaling $86.99 shipping included and received a rectangle sink. Called DecorIsland and told them that the wrong product was shipped. A man by the name Ralph stated that they did not have the round vessel sink and they decided to send us a rectangle sink. Ralph then told us that they would issue a call tag and refund us the total amount. We then received a call from Ralph stating that we can keep the sink and sell it to some one and they are only going to refund us $55.00. This company is a scam!! I placed a dispute on my card. Don't buy from them as they are dishonest. I have saved the message in a wave file for anyone that would like to here how they conduct business. AMAZING...

"Great selection -"

I had done considerable research looking for a new toilet. I liked the web site and prices. The one thing that was not disclosed on the web site is that there's a $99.00 handling fee on the order. So, the free shipping sounded great until I had to take into consideration a fee for handling that hadn't been disclosed upfront.
That said, Marco that helped me on the phone was helpful and knowledgeable. I haven't received the toilet yet, so more to come...

From sales to shipping to customer service, all my questions answered in finding a replacement for a discontinued faucet spray head and getting it delivered quickly. Gave me several alternatives including one budget-friendly option that i had not identified myself. Recommend and will use again!

"on-line ordering"

it was classical "bait & switch"
Decorisland listed the item I wanted on Amazon.
Confirmed the ordered. 3 days later I receive a msg "pls call us"
I called and was told "he's out in the field" (not sure which field). "We verify all orders." 4 hours later the field guy calls me. "We don't have your item but we can suggest a very similar item." The only thing that was similar was the price.

"Poor communication"

Ordered a washlet and soon after received a phone call saying the color I chose was unavailable and would white be acceptable. I said yes and the man said he would ship immediately. After more than a week with no delivery, I inquired about the status and was emailed that they did not have the color I ordered and it was backordered. I repled that they could send ANY color and please send immediately. The response was that my order was 2 to 3 weeks away for delivery to which I promptly responded to cancel my order. I was then sent an email to acknowledge cancellation with a statement saying they were sorry they could not meet my standards. My "standards" were not that high but this company failed misrably.

"You want my opinion"

Placed an order 8-days ago. Have not received my order and you emails indicating order status. When online for customer support, put in my order number and it comes back that there is no record of that order. Today, I get an email thanking me for my order and asking me to rate the experience. So, how do you think I should rate my experience?
