Customer services is baffling! 🙈 i'm asking reasonable questions about certain products and just keep getting short replies that don't answer my queries and takes them 2-3 days to come back to me without any answers. Very odd and quite frustrating. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I asked about wholesale but they won't tell me how much I need to order to make it a wholesale order so i took a guess just to try and get an answer and I got 'No Sorry, we can't do that' 😂 i'm a week in to emailing and still no closer to having my questions answered or placing any kind of order!

"OLD and SHORT Best Before dates - Do not order"

I would never buy from this website again! I placed an order for over £200 buying mainly cans and they sent me 3 cans with old expiry date. Few cans that are due to expire in Feb'25 ( next month), and others that are due to expire in September/October time. They only refunded me for the 3 with old expiry date, but not for those that expire in Feb. They will not cover the postage if you want to send them back. It looks that they send out their old products intentionally according to their email. According to them you need to make a special request if you want cans that are not near their expery date.

"Extremely short date on Best Before dates - BEWARE!!!"

I have used this company before and found them ok, so I trusted them.

In the cost of living crisis, they are obviously mismanaging their stock control and have ended up with very short date on bulk products. They are now looking at charging the customers for these mistakes.

I ordered a 25 Kg bulk product. The date on it is - wait for it - February 2025.

Now, as most people, I just order what I need. I do not want to find a product; request the best before date; wait and find a different time to order. I naturally assumed that on a bulk order the date would automatically be 6 moths to 2 years. Not a month.

The company do accept returns - but they will not provide a return label so if you want your money back you have to pay for that yourself. They will not accept that 4 weeks BB should not even be offered.

So, good luck - there is another customer with a similar review on here, I just wish that I had read that before I ordered.

I place an order every three months. The food is high quality and arrives well packed.
My favourite item is organic walnuts, but I also buy cashews, almonds, and pumpkin seeds. The organic bran sticks are great for a high-fibre, no sugar breakfast cereal.
It is nice to buy from a specialist UK company.

"Selling stock with Short BB Dates"

My wife used the Healthy Supplies website awhile ago and decided to give it another go as our current nut supplier was starting to get expensive. She used the search bar on the home page and added items to her basket and spent £105 in total. When the order arrived she noticed that the organic walnuts only had a couple of months expiry date on them so she contacted the supplier. The supplier then said that all the expiry dates are on the product page and my wife should have check this but then this information isn't available when you add the product from the search feature. The supplier says it states it clearly in the terms and conditions and she should have checked.I copied and pasted the terms and conditions, all 12 pages (yes,really!) and did find them buried in there but this should be made clear when you can add products from the search bar. Oil in nuts will go rancid and the nuts moldy so you have to be careful that you get good dates.She feels conned into buy old stock.Supplier didn't give a toss so that is the last time we buy from Healthy Supplies!!!!
UPDATE
The website is not clear, if you add products to the basket after a search there is just simply an 'add' button not mention of any BB dates. Dom is being disingenuous when he says they are clear they aren't! The offer to send it back is not good enough as we would have to pay the postage. Not happy...
