I was initially hesitant to put my savings here, however, the reviews were great and money is covered by FSCS. They answer the phone quickly, that is hard with other bigger banks, resolved a few queries. The savings interest rate is very good! I would have given 5*, but recently when I called them- money transferred to Vida Savings was returned back, they said it had nothing to do with them. I then found out from my main bank that the sort code 20 32 53 , that Vida Bank use is assigned to Barclays Bank and they had an outage last weekend and it was all over the news. This was not conveyed to me by Vida!!! It would have saved me so much stress!!!

A really good rate and a very good experience in opening the Fixed Rate Bond. From the application to transferring monies from my nominated account, the whole process was very easy and stress free.
Communication by emails and texts was very good too with a good emphasis on security.
Transfers were very quick with a text as confirmation and monies showed in my account the next day.
When transferring money use your own name for the account name, not Vida Savings. You may also see a reference to Barclays Bank as this is their clearing bank.

"Be careful using Vida Savings"
I intended to send money to Vida Savings to fund my 1 Year Fixed Rate Bond I had opened with Vida. I keyed in all the necessary required information to my bank, Virgin Money, to transfer funding from my Virgin account to my Vida 1 Year Fixed Rate Bond. Virgin Money would not accept Vida Savings or Vida Bank Limited. Virgin stated they did not recognise the company (Vida Savings or Vida Bank Limited). Virgin stated if I proceeded with the transfer I might not get my money back. I cancelled the transfer.

"Very simple to deal with on line"
Very simple to deal with on line. Best part is one can telephone the office and speak to someone if you are not sure of anything. Received a text to say money received and also an e mail. I was impressed. Hope you continue to be efficient.

I was asked to send personal details to a general enquiry email address, which raises serious privacy concerns. I expect a bank to prioritise data security and provide secure communication channels for sensitive information.
update: You can see that from their reply here in Trustpilot. They misunderstand the issue and don't understand data security at all.

Very easy to set up a savings account with a great interest rate. Deposits are acknowledged with a text and email and it's been a very stress free experience. I called Customer Services with a query and was very satisfied. Cannot recommend Vida highly enough!

Clear website and good communication by email and text. I found process of opening a fixed rate account to be quick and straightforward and interest rate was good. Cannot comment on other services from this bank as it is the first time I've used them.
