Purchased Land Rover Discovery on 21.02.25.
Summary:
1. No MOT (found out after purchase)
2. No evidence of PDI checks being completed
3. No Aftercare Service
One month later (today 21.03.25) & the I am still being messed around by Saxton 4x4.
Service Manager RC: Makes bold promises but completely fails to respond to emails. 10 e-mails & one month later & I still haven’t received payment for a replacement tyre that he authorised & said he would make prompt payment.
Sales Manager AC: Talks a good game about “exceeding customer expectations”, but has still not delivered on any promises.
Customer Services: They will be soon posting an anodyne comment below saying “We take all feedback very seriously” and “If you need any further assistance, please send the details of your issue to our customer care team directly at: customer care email”, but when you e-mail them all you get is a tumbleweed moment…
If you are looking to buy a car, I advice you to avoid Saxton 4x4 at all costs. All this company will do is let you down, waste your time & stretch your patience.

Great service but they need to be upfront about the service fee they charge and also stick to their promises. I was told they l would fill that car up with petrol and make up private number plates for me but neither was done , However I’m very please with my purchase overall.

I arranged to see a car which I had initially reserved and I rang on the morning of the appointment only to learn that the car had been sold. I was aware that the reservation had been cancelled due to my being out of the country, but no one contacted me to tell me that the car I was interested in had been sold. When I spoke to Luke he said that he understood that I would be coming into the showroom to see other cars rather than the one I had expressed an interest in. I have no idea how he came to that conclusion. I had never said that I wanted to see any other car, and it must have been obvious that the car I wished to see was the one I had initially reserved. I am very disappointed with their lack of communication. It was only my phone call on the morning of the appointment that saved me a pointless round trip of more than 2 hours.
