I have to say what a lovely firm Saxon 4x4 is! Fantastic service and made me feel very comfortable from start to finish. I Highly recommend this dealership and if your looking for a non pressuring salesman ask for sunny he’s top class and very calm. I drove all the way from Bristol to this firm and I can truly say it was well worth the 6 hour round trip.

"Beware they try to take money for nothing"

Beware, this company takes a reservation fee from you online saying its is fully refundable if you don’t buy the car, but then if you decide the car isn’t what you want, then they try to keep £299 from you! They have tried to do this with my daughter who was trusting what they publish and say online on the website and in email/whatsapp communications, despicable!
Update 25/04 - this company has still got £299 of my daughters money when they say the reservation fee is fully refundable, don’t trust them!! Having to go through bank to get it back

"Saxton 4x4 – A Nightmare Experience"

If you’re considering buying from Saxton 4x4, think twice! My experience with this dealer has been nothing short of a nightmare. Here’s what I’ve gone through:

Purchase & Initial Issue:
Purchased a Mercedes-Benz V class from Saxton 4x4 on 25th March 2024 with full cash payment.

15th April 2024: Noticed a A/C failure, the EML light on and coolant issue (low coolant warning & high engine temperature) on the car and reported it via phone call.

Dealer scheduled a repair for 1st May 2024 but never showed up.

Follow-up calls and emails were ignored.

Failed Repairs & Worsening Condition:
After multiple attempts, the vehicle was finally taken in for repairs on 30th May 2024.

The same fault reappeared the next day after the vehicle was returned.

Since then, the dealer has ignored all communication—calls, emails, everything!

Escalation & Huge Financial Losses:
With no response from Saxton 4x4, I had no choice but to take the vehicle to Mercedes.

Three separate repair attempts cost me about £6,200, yet the problem remains unresolved.

Mercedes has now recommended further investigation, including removing the engine head, which will cost an additional £5,700.

Current Situation:
The vehicle is now completely undrivable—a £46,000 purchase that I can’t even use.

Saxton 4x4 refuses to take responsibility, respond, or assist in any way.

Viewed a car on behalf of a client. Car was ideal and my client paid a deposit subject to me taking the car for a test drive later that day. Had test drive booked for 3pm, as I walked into the showroom for the test drive I received a call (at 2.55 pm) from the salesman saying don’t come in now as the car has been sold by one of his colleague's ….then my client spent ages trying to get his deposit back.
